I live in a smaller town in the midwest so the pickings are usually pretty slim compared to some of you guys.

Nice finds today though.

Harris Tweed Coat

Unsure of what these are.  Labeled as: Asoka, Moda Italiana.

Can't seem to find anything on them.  But still very nice quality.

Piatelli makes the tailored stuff for Barneys, not sure about shirts.

The label looks kinda like Isaia's label, but not exactly.

Not quite a beginner, so yeah: it's LA. It's confusing. New York is a way better-dressed town, to my eye, but I never had half the luck there I have here.
Nothing glamorous, but I found a few things I like over the weekend, none of it available:
Two made-in-Italy shirts that fit me great:

The Sonrisa name is new to me, but it's a really nice shirt. Looks dingy in the pic, but not in person. (And can't get the $%#$ thing to rotate, apologies.)
Anybody know who makes the made-in-Italy shirts for Barneys?
This thing I love. 100% cashmere, gorgeous gun club check, side vents, spotless, just incredibly soft fabric. Technically not a thrift; I bought it at a hippie vintage store, but I would have happily paid double and it fits me like it was made for me.

The tag I think maybe points to Belvest? Doesn't matter as I don't plan to sell or trade: I plan to wear it weekly.

I don't think they are shell. I have heard of pebblegrain shell but have never seen. These look like regular longwings IMHO. Still a very valuable shoe, as the others.

Need a little help deciding whether or not it is worth reconditioning/resoling these old Florsheims.  Not sure why the burgundy is so dark, but some lengthy work-over with Lexol has produced little/no results.

Thoughts??

shog[1].gif I just checked and it seems that I have put my PO box in by habit and completely forgot that I did it. I was going to get my business mail tomorrow but had a hint that I should go sooner. I found a note from the Post Office stating that they have a package too large for the box waiting for me. They open at 8 AM. Guess where I'll be at 7:59.
