I don't know if it would even be worth it to re-weave worsted wool pants 'cuz 90% sure it'll show and won't look good.  I only have luck re-weaving sweaters and even then the only time it looks 100% is when the pattern is a solid or at the very least heathered solid.  I pay $10 / hole, but have gotten away with $5 / hole if the holes are small.  There's some Russians who do a great job in Cambridge, MA if you're in the Boston / Cambridge / Somerville area.

Oi, that definitely sounds cheaper than I've ever heard for reweaving! I have one garment with a very large rewoven patch, and it's flawless. Was probably quite expensive to reweave, but you really can't tell where it is unless you look on the wrong side (it's an unlined jacket so it's obvious from the inside). Currently my "reweaving" pile consists of a Kiton cashmere sc - which is worth the money to do it right - and a Samuelsohn suit, which isn't a high priority. I do expect to pay as much for the reweaving on the Kiton as I paid for the jacket, which wasn't much really, but will still hurt. :( May send it out to Chicago or something, finding a local reweaver has been daunting.

Man, darning sweaters can be fun, but at 5 bucks I might have someone else do it!

I'm leaving Sunday for a quick vacation to NYC. I'll be there until Friday (staying in Manhattan), and I plan to do a little shopping. I've got a bunch of Manhattan thrift stores all mapped out and ready to go. I'm also planning to visit Uniqlo while I'm there. Any other stores that I should be sure to visit?

Wow. All the non french cuff T&A shirts I've found were 3 button cuff. Seems to be an English trend as I have some Timothy Everest and Richard James shirts that also have 3 button cuffs.
I've had some wild checkered/striped T&A shirts. Never could get over $50 for them. One was even NWOT and super recent. You're a lucky man if you milked out $100+ on one.
Almost struck out today. Hit one last store. Local and rarely has anything of any value. To my surprise I found this Z-Zegna herringbone overcoat hanging with the suits. The weight is a little heavier than a suit-jacket. Pretty cool. Tagged a 46 but fits like a 44. (Available).

I would switch around Zegna Soft and Z Zegna. Although anything Z Zegna will by default be newer than Zegna Soft since it replaced it, the quality of Zegna Soft is better (i.e. half-canvass v. fused)

Also have a slightly more serious question.  Anyone ever heard of either "Glenloch mills" or "Lord Nelson" (brand??).  I found this jacket that fits me perfectly and I really like the houndstooth pattern.  It has hand sewn lapels and seems generally relatively well made (yes, I realize one sleeve is missing 2 buttons, but the other has 3 so I'm just going to move one over and rock it with 2 sleeve buttons).  Any info?

It must be between Glen Morangie and Loch Lamond, Just south of Glen Garioch, and north of Macallan. About an hour drive from Glen fiddich but if you want to go from Laphroiag, you have to pass from Glen livet.

Just so you know, I repped your comment because it was too epic...and drinkable, neat.

Not really into
spam[1].gif
, but just thought that I'd mention that I've got a Ermenegildo Zegna Napoli Couture shirt 16 /41 or so (item description has all the measurements) starting at $40 mixed in with my eBay stuff right now. I can pull it if anyone on here has an approximate straight up trade for something badass that's in line with the measurements in my profile. Lemme know.

Thanks, -M-
