Discounted. Store must have mistaken them for regular Levis (they did this with a Levis x Robert Geller denim jacket I bought last year). Cost? $25. smile.gif

OH shit! Kill price! What store was this? Levi's outlet?

Nope. Standard discount retailer that gets stuff from all over. Never had any luck at the Levis outlet here. Talked to them once and they said they stopped getting any LVC/Capitol E stuff. When they did before, it was always small sizes. Stopped going there a long time ago, not really worth it.

Anybody mind if I noob it up? I've always been an occasional thrifter but moved to LA not long ago, started reading this thread a few weeks ago, and have been inspired to go out the last few weeks whenever I can squeeze it in. I've learned a ton from you all - I hope I have, anyway. Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with some of what I've picked up.
Keeping: Shirts from Polo Ralph Lauren in a nice flannel, Lorenzini, Borrelli Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
My favorite thing I've ever thrifted, maybe favorite thing I've ever bought. Swaine Adeney Brigg hacking jacket. (I think it's a hacking jacket, don't beat up the noob if I'm wrong.) Not available. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

My second-favorite pickup: Isaia cotton sportcoat. Probably the ideal LA SC. So very not available. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Also some no-name but nice-feeling made-in-Italy ties that fill holes in my closet: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
And then a bunch of stuff I wish I could keep but that just doesn't fit right. All available: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
This would be my favorite thing ever if it wasn't a little big in the shoulders (I'm a 42 R/L): Cantarelli windowpane SC Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Some shirts: J Press, Oriali, Lorenzini Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Tom James Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I also picked up a couple of real headscratchers. They seemed like good ideas at the time. (These are available, to say the least.) Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Beat-up blue oxford by Lisa Tailor. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Blue patch-pocket Levi's wool blazer. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

This is a nice haul. I suspect it was held up for review and few saw it, so reposting so it gets its due.

It's like bizarro world....where black suits are ok, and Hickey is better than Brioni.

Too much for my inebriated brain to handle.

Wow, big +1...and agreed, must have been held up - I read every damn post in this thread and I didn't see this one!  I've never even seen Cantarelli branded Cantarelli, and that Isaia is straight sickness.  Great finds.

Growing up, I was very fortunate to have an uncle that was well-connected in the Ferrari world. Since we live so close to The Breakers, he would invite us every year to the Cavalino Classic (think Ferrari-specific Pebble Beach) they hold there, and we'd spend a few days at the track events, the concours, and the banquet. Mind you, I was between 9 and 14, and I still knew that the guys who left the basting and tags on the sleeve were being twats. One could easily tell between the true enthusiasts and the nouveau riche.
