The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Page 3759

Hello,

Just thought i would post two of my recent finds.

400

400

400

400

Nothing much, but pretty happy with them. And they were a steal at 3$ each.

It's pretty hard to find the same quality-stuff here in scandinavia, and its a bit more expensive.

Maybe Albert Hal is hugging all the good stuff :)

Found the black captoes I was looking for!

+2 Very good work. I actually took the jacket I found in my first post here (a Kiton blazer) and they fixed it right up.

Expect to pay $20-30 per hole. That sounded pretty gross after I wrote it.

They need work though...

Not much at the one store I had time to check out today but I picked up these Gap 1969 selvedge jeans in size 29x30. Available if anyone is interested as they are far too small for me.

Actual measurements are:
Waist - 15.75
Rise - 9
Inseam - 31

Thats funny. He sent me some photos and he had a bunch of pairs. He must have gotten a shipment of them in and is trying to pawn them off.

Actually on viewing the photos just now the pocket stitching on them look kinda off too. Otherwise it looks like someone went to a lot of trouble to make a bunch of fake Nudies. Is there really that much of a demand for them?

Only one grab today and it's available.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Hugo Boss Baldessarini made in Italy Cashmere sport coat, size 44L. Made in Italy. Seems almost NWOT with pockets basted and extra buttons in the inside pocket. Anyone know anything about this line?

Got the Brioni back from the dry cleaners and the pit stains didn't really change. Anyone ever have a jacket relined? How much does that run? Still deciding, it's a perfect fit in some places but I fear a hair short in the sleeves.

I believe that jacket is caruso. Pretty sure Baldessarini is out on its own now.

This is a great find.

Made by Caruso to very high standards (fully canvassed).

Not my size, but somebody should kop it.

Sweet thanks guys. I can't believe now I almost put this one back but details were a little sketchy on a quick google search on my phone.

Are Cable & Co shoes worth picking up at all? Left a pair of size 9 black perforated cap toe behind. Made in Italy but didn't seem to be anything special.

Not familiar with Cable & Co. Carroll and Co or Cable Car Co are both solid-to-very-good brands, if it's one of those.
