I never want that link to expire.

DO IT. I can't recommend Typhoid enough. He sold my Chipp grass green with white beach chair print linen pants (yeah, thumbs-up.gif) way faster and much higher than I ever could.

Sorry for the double post. I should have kept on reading.

Peter Blair! You in my neck of the woods? I was in Peter Blair last weekend. A great, uber Southern preppy men's store here in Richmond. Lots of Southwick, Barbour, Bills Khakis, Alden, and Trafalgar.

some stores are really expensive, i've just been finding stuff at the cheap stores.

that, and i don't pick up most things if they're really marked up. a while back one store had used prada suits in mediocre condition for 199.99 foo.gif

+1. I found RLPL cords the other day. Paid north of a Jackson -- almost an order of magnitude more than Mainy. confused.gif

Went back for that Cucinelli pinstripe orphan this afternoon, but it was gone.... baldy[1].gif  I'm guessing a local flipper spotted it last night after I left.  I did find a nice Coach purse, some other stuff for the lady, and a couple of shirts.  One is an Indigo Palms by Tommy Bahama shirt, with nice MOP buttons, about medium size.  I'm familiar with Tommy Bahama, wasn't sure if Indigo Palms was licensed junk, but the shirt seemed pretty solid with good buttons.  Worthy pickup?  Can get photos later, but available.

Oh, and got my SS package Tben -- I'm not sure if I can wait to open it, but I suspect I know what one item is, and I'll like it!  fistbump.gif

Glad (most) everything worked out. Thought the CDG might be a wee bit short in the arms, but I figured you can always use it as trade bait. Happy Holidays.

My $15 Brioni suit came today. Pants are even flat-front and uncuffed. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif The only thing that'll need tailoring is the sleeves, and I really hope there's enough material in there to do it...

First time thrifting. I didn't find anything really interesting--just a lot of wrinkles. All items are available.

XL L.L. Bean Lambswool Cable Knit Sweater (fits more like a large)

M Vintage Penfield Wool Sweater (has small pinhole on front)

~38 Harris Tweed Jacket by Walkers (anyone heard of them?)

38 Corneliani Jacket (interesting fabric)

The rest of the jackets are 40-42 (I don't have them in front of me and I can't remember which ones are which)
Orvis Jacket

Polo Ralph Lauren Camel Hair Jacket (this is really nice)

Brooks Brothers Jacket

44 Vintage London Fog Overcoat (looks like it has never been worn)
