Sick finds as usual Xenos... I swear you find large quantities of excellent stuff. I suppose that's just Los Angeles where the streets are paved with finely tailored suits.

I'll check, but it was maybe two weeks ago. I forgot about it, then came across the pics on my phone and figured I'd post it. I think it was in the $40 range.

And a few more items:

Zegna blue wool suit; double-vented; size 46R(US)

Caruso for Barneys wool/linen SC; double-vented; surgeon's cuffs; size 42L

And I'm assuming all the below are SCs and not orphans as the details, e.g., patch pockets lend themselves more to the former than the latter. Also, scoured the store for pants and none were to be found.

Borrelli navy SC; double-vented; surgeon's cuffs; size 40R

Kiton navy SC; double-vented; surgeon's cuffs; size 40R

(What kind of weave is this?)

Cesare Attolini wool/cashmere navy SC; double-vented; surgeon's cuffs; size 40R

It'd be cheaper and you would have more tows in case of emergency.

I pay $7 or 14 every 6 months for emergency towing via my liability insurance. (GEICO). It's not as expensive as AAAs annual membership. Although AAA gives you free maps (!). I've never had to call their tow service (knocks on wood), so I can't comment on the service yet.

Well that's what I have currently. Their service is great and such. The problem is.... They will tow you anywhere you want to go as long as its no further than the closest participating mechanic or dealer. Where I broke down (50 miles from home) they would tow me anywhere I wanted as long as it was less than 3 miles away. Since I didn't know anyone in that 3 mile radius, it was off to the dealership. But hey, I was just happy to be out of harms way. The shoulder of a busy interstate at night is petrifying.

Been lurking for the past month and was really impressed by all the awesome finds so I started hitting up local thrifts. I found some pretty awesome stuff (Brioni shirt, Orvis blazer, Hickey Freeman blazer) but most of it wasnt my size facepalm.gif

Here is some of the ties I picked up. I took multiple photos, but I have no idea how to upload it the way you guys do. These are available and I am pretty reasonable.

Hickey Freeman tie, 100% silk

700

Robert Talbott tie

700

Christian Dior skinny tie

700

Oscar dela Renta skinny tie, 100% cashmere

I hate orphans. Came across the jacket for a tuxedo today, just Christian Dior, but single button, peak lapel, in nice shape, and in my size. The pants, however, were nowhere to be found. Checked the entire rack of men's pants, women's pants, and the larger kids sizes. Not a trace. I'll be keeping an eye on the store for a few days in case they come out, but I'm not gonna waste my money on the jacket until then.

Wound up with two ties- a Daks Paisley and a Talbott Repp. Nothing too exciting. Quick and crappy shot:

Saw a vintage coach briefcase messenger bag. Leather made in USA. Had some use on it but no rips etc. They wanted 50... Worth it?
