Made this mistake once (well not crocs or pink...lol). I knew I was in for an interesting trip before I walked into the store. I was all dressed up coming back from my internship and entered a fairly large GW (the ones with tons of "new" dollar store junk in them as well). I get out of my car and immediately, I stick out. Before I get to the front door some guy comes JETTING out of the store and the manager follows at full-speed. They are at a stand-off and the manager is screaming "Give me back the socks or I will taze you!!!" The guy and him are running around a car like it was from a cartoon and I am just kind of standing there enjoying the show. Finally the thief chucks the pair of socks at the managers face and runs full speed (he was pretty quick) away. I walked into the store to shop like nothing had happened...hahaha.
Who steals socks from Goodwill?
Ahahahaa! That must have been quite the sight!
He actually just asked where are the best places in Chicago to go. So I suggest an architectural boat tour (awesome, even in November), the Art Institute (American Gothic is there, I believe, as is Nighthawks). And I recommend The Conrad, especially as it is attached to Nordstrom, which will allow the OP to pick up some nice clothes too. You're welcome.

Work has slowed down enough that I can step out to a couple of stores that are within a few blocks of my office. Unfortunately one of them put out a bunch of EZ suits priced too high to make it worth picking them up. Thankfully the other store down the street had this on the rack (along with the form it's displayed on):

Well, you have to remember, people die or have bad break-ups with their girlfriends every day. Those are the only two possible explanations I can think of.
