This was from Butler.
With the exception of the tie (Nat correct me if I'm wrong on vintage Sears stuff), you should leave all that stuff at the store.
Are you new at this? Not intending to offend, but everyone goes through a period at the beginning where they think they should just grab everything. At this point, better to put back anything you're unsure of, learn how to recognize quality over brands (please read Oregotrix's blog about this) and pay attention to what people in this thread talk about.
Yeah, I am new. I wasn't expecting much from pants or trench, but they fit well and it was half off so why not. These are all for me, not looking to sell, and as I said I am a college student looking to up my game for cheap. The pants will hopefully be durable while being a touch better then jeans, I will probably be wearing them with oxblood Doc Martens most of the time, so not really going for pure class. The Sears looked very quality, Goodyear welt and nicer leather, I am regretting not getting them though and may go back. Not anything to brag about sure.
Yeah, I'm really into cycling, and "specialize"in climbing more so. The 33" measurement was at my summer/race weight and I am about 10-15lb heavier now. I am doing the 100 push ups plan. Jacket size is unknown since I lost a lot of weight after getting more serious about cycling. Fitting for my sister's wedding put me in a 36, probably smallest size they have available, I had a cheap suit in HS that is way too big now, and this is my first "real" suit, no sizing in it though.
