On a thrift related note.....as I'm trying to keep out of the kitchen this morning....picked up this pretty cool (or at least I think so) jacket yesterday....

Does this style jacket have a name/ anyone know what it's called?

St. Michael (from what I can tell is a Marks and Spencer brand), tweedish.....thinking about keeping but my wife is not a fan...

Yes St Michael is the Marks & Spencer house brand. I know in the UK it's really perceived as a department store brand. But the pieces I've found are solid enough (jacket and trousers) and work if you're going to wear them yourself. In fact, my thrift fit from a few days ago was a M&S St. Michaels Harris Tweed that is one of my go tos.

And the jacket is, I think, generally called a Norfolk jacket, for shooting and hunting.

And to you, and thanks for the SC, it's sweet.
It arrived yesterday just in time for my FIL to take a liking to it, but since he brought with him a vintage Harris Tweed topcoat that he's owned for 40 years and worn twice, we may trade.
