Best day in a long time. Found a white/black Costume National Homme shirt at the Goodwill. Found these at the Salvation Army: - Zegna blue heavy-weight shirt - Varvatos light-weight shirt, perfect for summer - Tomer Rothschild Hand Tailored shirt. It's VERY slim-fitting, I can't fit it. Does anyone know about this maker? I would flip this since it doesn't fit, but it probably wouldn't do too well being as it's not a well-known label. I'm thinking of keeping this in hopes of losing some weight to fit it. Here is their web-site, though: http://www.tomerrothschild.com/

I usually have quite a bit of luck thrifting around here - not necessarily the super high-end labels that some of you find, but still some really good (trad-leaning) stuff (Brooks Brothers, Bill's Khakis, ties, PRL, etc.).

I usually try and sell it on the B&S forum, but had an idea - would anyone be interested in trading? I figure I can post my sizes, as well as the stuff I come across, and if there's any interest, we can make a trade for something you have found. What do you think?

I would be interested. I usually make a run once a week. Usually find PRL, HF, HSM (sometimes decent), and tons of ties.

In the spirit of the trade proposal, post measurements. If it fits me, I may be able to offer some stuff.

His J. Press saga continues! On a return trip to the same thrift store, my brother found a minty, early-'60s J. Press tux, grosgrain, single-breasted, peaked lapels....very slim cut. His size, like the Chesterfield--maybe they came from the same gent. $15. When the tux returns from some minor alterations, I'll snap some photos. Me, I had to be happy with a Talbott ascot.
