[Refuses to quote the far too many posts on the diversion]

As your attorney, I advise against this line of argument.

Besides, it detracts from the fact that, in a single week, I've found almost thirty Zegna shirts. EDIT: Oh yeah, and SEVEN RLPL ITEMS: 5 ties, 2 shirts!

[Insert humblebrag gif here, and hopefully re-rail the thread]

Whats the deal?

I'm thinking the double whammy of Halloween and Christmas traffic in my neck of the woods, plus I imagine a lot of people wait until after the holidays to do donation runs.

All of the 50% off days don't help either, brings out the volume flippers (or just volume buyers) in droves and seems to drive in a lot of students around here as well who usually buy garbage but occasionally scoop some nice stuff by accident.

Close, but not quite.  It was started when a guy who made a fairly standard complaint about perceived unequal treatment in the workplace - something we have all been guilty of at one point or another, regardless of the field - was greeted with a lengthy screed about the uselessness of young journalists and the intricacies of the modern world of journalism.  There was a 2 hour gap between ATLJon's initial post and your novella, with little fanfare.

I actually prefer "outrightly sarcastic twit."

OK, I'll just go ahead and say it straight: You're a straight-up prick. Seriously.

Luckily the people in this thread are not complete nutcases.

Imagine if there exists an overly sensitive but sadistic person on here who plans a long term vengeance when he feels that some fellow violated his honor. Months later, he manufactures a trade scenario just to obtain the residential address of that one person whom dared to offend him devil.gif

Little bit tipsy so best to ignore this drunkard ..........

Nice finds today. Esp Andro. That Anderson is AWESOME. PM sent.
Quick brag. I've had a very nice, productive 24 hours, and not just because it was my birfday.
4 spots total. Each yielded nicely.
Crappy pics:
Sport coats, L ro R: PRL USA made linen navy, dual vent and ticket pocket; fits so keeping (Don't worry, Brianpore: I will give the Flusser to my brother!), very recent Burberry with all basting (incl. on dual vents) intact, tagged 40, but fits 41; Nicest, most recent Harris Tweed I've ever seen, tagged 46; Oxxford tweed with older label but gorge is manageable, tagged 41R
Photobucket
Shoes: AE Stowe tassel penny loaf, 10.5 EEE.
Photobucket
Shirts:
Left column (same donor, tagged 16): Zegna (Recent), Zegna (recent), Ascot Chang, Armani Collezioni (recent), Armani Collezioni
Right column: Barbour 16.5, Corneliani ID Sm, Zegna 16.5, Zegna 16.5, Barneys house brand 15.5
(Note: These shirts will be available, but a dude I owe has immediate priority)
Photobucket
Ties:
Stuart, Trafalgar braces (needs method).
Now for the big score, all in same store (L to R, top to bottom): Bresciani (anyone heard of them? Passed on lots of them), Vineyard Vines, Hermes, Les Copains (EDIT: On second thought, nvm; not worthy), RLPL x 5 (YEEAAHHH BIATCH!)
Photobucket

Happy birthday, GMMcL!

Awesome finds and congrats on the pile of RLPL you've recently found. If you decide to let go of any of those RLPL ties, get at me! smile.gif

Your entire post was awesome and had some really cool things in it. Well done. I rather like the color of that jacket, whenever you get measurements, let me know!

Gorgeous grey herringbone with a blue windowpane check, 3/2, side vented, button fly/flat front trousers.  Oh, and the kicker: cost?  Goose egg.  Yep, completely free.  They had some tag deal going on where if you bought 3 green tags, you got a white tag free.  I didn't even realize it when I went to check out, but I got three other items that were all green tagged so it didn't cost me a dime.  Insane.

Looked up the owner (who has since passed) - apparently he lived to the north of this town in the "booneytown" area I described...and at one point was the wealthiest person in my state, worth north of $200 million.  Boggles the mind.

Then today still wasn't really planning on hitting shops but I was out running errands and didn't have anything better to do and hit a haunt that has been pretty dry so I haven't gone lately.  Mind totally blown again when I found this.  N/A:

Wow, that's an incredible score! Hopefully your day got a bit better after that!

And I was in a hotel one day, drying my junk with a towel when I realized some other dude has dried his junk with this towel as well, so I'll just run these through a diluted solution of bleach and water, wash, and wear.

Generally there is a quartermaster's stamp inside the sleeve at the armpit with the date and time. Usually it is in the left sleeve.

It's even more to think about when you are drying your face when you realize another dude was drying his junk with that same towel.
