Someone size 40 looking for a quilted jacket? A bit worn but Lavenham is a good maker and it's only $20

I had this happen - I knowingly picked up a Florsheim shell beacuse it was an unusual model. It was like a dollar for the one shoe... they had it mated with some obvious wrong shoe. I had them look and offered a reward for the other shoe, but nothing doing. I planned to sell it just as that - one shoe - but I'm not sure if i still have it or if I got tired of it kicking around and chucked it lol8[1].gif

Thanks to you guys i do feel somewhat confident that I know what im looking for though. My problem, these alden monks... I swear to god one of these is shell and one is calf... Could the donor have donated 2 pair, and someone else grabbed a mismatched pair?! If I sell them how should I market them, cause even if one is shell I don't want to market it as shell entirely, and don't want to market them like theyre just calf either...

See! Please tell me wtf is going on here. Teh left screams shell to me as loudly as the right screams calf...

In addition to the rolls vs creases others have pointed out you should be able to feel the difference between the two shoes. Not trying to say you should have known better, rather encouraging you to feel the difference as a good learning experience.

Just found a pair of classic Blundstone boots (black with brown stitching and elastic insets) in size 11. Really good condition. Looks like someone wore them a couple times and then donated them.

Let me know if you are interested. I am always looking for ties (2-3/4", 3", or 3-1/4") or can sell cheap. I can email photos.

The color might actually be "stout brown," which is almost black, particularly if the stitching is brown.

Ask the mods for help. I think that's the only way.
