I'll be sure to post next Monday when I get it back from the tailor.  Aside from 2 missing buttons on one sleeve, and a loose stitch on a lapel, it's in flawless condition.

Very nice indeed, only problem, here in AZ, not too many chances to wear top coats or heavier SC's. This Thanksgiving, high of 80 degress.

Thrift pic, this is the Oxxford Shetland wool (so my tailor told me) SC from earlier in the year with the gold buttons. Took the buttons off and sold for $540, bought a Tommy Hilfiger SC for a $1 and took the buttons off and had them put on the Oxxford.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

SC Oxxford Shetland wool for Bullock & Jones, San Francisco (thrifted $7) Buttons, from Tommy Hilifeger

Shirt, JAB (no monogram)

Tie, Jack Victor 100% silk made in Italy, darker stripes have a nice thicker texture.

Pants, Zanella mild double pleats (thrifted)

Shoes AE Brookwood in chili (retail on sale)

Gold buttons before

Before ebay you should check with HansderHund on the tie, it should be right up his alley.

Anyone familiar with Stewarts of Scotland? I'm guessing this is an older (80s or 90s) wool sweater. But I really like it, and it fits well.

^^ Love the suit and the tie (though it doesn't appear to be a grenadine, from what I can see). You may want to experiment with a solid shirt.

I think the ties in the photos are a good start. I don't see myself wearing POW that often, so I would replace it with a forest green tie, goes great with a gray suit. Didn't know The Tie Bar sells grenadine too, hmm satisfied.gif

they don't they sell grendafaux and I am planning on buying the ties I have not yet I really like the pow though, with a light grey suit white shirt and black wingtips I think it could look muderous a la the new bond film http://www.thetiebar.com/search.asp?target=grenafaux&btnTemplateSearchFormSubmit.x=11&btnTemplateSearchFormSubmit.y=13

and bruuh wut you mean break up my sentences I know how to english bruh I got an 800 in reading and a 5 on my english ap test bruh bruh BRUH I will wreck you bruh

sorry I am in a pretty gangster mood after seeing these tools from my rich white suburban town trying to be hood, watch the video it is pretty funny

also a note about tie widths almost all mine are 3-3.25 inch I think they work best with my thin frame but do you think those are so slim that they will be totally out of style and worthless in a few years? I have a couple of 4 inch bb I was thinking about sending into tie crafters but should I wait?

Oh man, I was just thinking about what ever happened to those 14k buttons the other day! That's awesome! Did you ever get those elk buttons from your hunter friend? If so, are you willing to proxy?

I really hate it when I try to do a lunch thrift and I see all the tags in the suits and sport coats still hanging out from an earlier thrifter...
