What good is bragging about thrift shop finds without mentioning the price paid?

This feels like the beginning of a slap fest. And I'm fighting the urge to just drop it. But I will pause to observe we've made it well over 50.000 posts with that being the general rule. We all know how little we all pay; we're out there every day.

I am just curious, why do you care what other people post?

That's an old department store in Vienna. I think I have one or two of these and I think someone else on the board found one. I had no idea that they had a store in the US, but their Viennese store has been closed for some time if I remember correctly. Most of their clothing was by now famous makers I believe as they really only sold luxury goods. I can't really ID that tag, but I would bet on it's quality. Interesting find!

Oh, and they are no longer at Graben 8 in Vienna, that's a giant H&M now mad.gif

If no one what cared about what "other people posted," then this message board (and the Internet as whole) would be entirely and absolutely pointless.

Here comes the promised photos of the 3 beautiful cashmere sportcoats that I found yesterday.

All of them fit around 43R. I paid almost non-thrift prices for them. Available for trade or cash.

One is by Ravozzolo with pure cashmere from Drapers. Tagged EU54 C. No vent.
Shoulder 19
Chest 23.5
Sleeves 24.5
Length BOC 30.3
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Another Ravozzolo with pure cashmere from Vitale Barberis Canonico. Tagged EU56 R. No vent.
Shoulder 19
Chest 23.5
Sleeves 24.5
Length BOC 31
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Last one is by Franck Namani with a label saying Ultimum Cashmere / Private Collection / by / Franck Namani. Juici hron buttons with dual vents. Tagged EU56 R. According to the label, I believe it is made by Belvest.

Shoulder 20
Chest 23.5

I saw the same labels on a navy blazer last week and thought the Made in Spain to be very odd. I never knew Polo had sourced jackets from a Spanish maker. It was a nice jacket, just a bit dated.

Aint on your turf bro smile.gif Quality on it is nice actually.

Well, there comes a moment for every new dad where he knows his life will never be the same wink.gif

Jacket is a little big, sleeves most certainly long, but not terrible!
