That "Switched on Brandenburg" isn't available, is it? wink.gif

Ha, I could make it available.  It's in pristine condition.  I really want to pop it onto the turntable, but something went awry and the platter no longer spins.  Damned automatic drive...who knows what could be wrong with it.

Maybe I was subconsciously channeling you? I had read the article but it comes more out of my better half's mouth. I have challenged her to find stuff for herself whenever she comes with me thrifting. She has very nice taste but ALWAYS walks out empty handed. Her responses are always that everything is outdated. I have to say that she has a far better "eye" than I do and I am glad she prefers to hit the mens aisles with me.

Here are her finds from a recent trip. What did I find? Nothing.

Zegna casual shirt

700

Pendleton Blazer

700

And she found this. I have yet to see anything like it. It's an orphan and we couldn't find the pants. Best part? Half off.

700

Can anyone confirm whether this is real? The tag looks slightly off to me.

700

Oh and this is a GA label ive never seen before. The store wanted a crazy amount for the suit so I passed. Should I have gone back? I know the "black label" is the good label but this one is different.

700

Wow! The Charvet looks legit. I'm not an expert but I've handled enough of these to kinda tell which ones are real.

Dude, totally a good kop on the Isaia orphan! That GA is their Classico. It's discontinued. I think that particular label is the updated version of their original one. Good pass at $29.99. I would kop no more than $15.

my southwick suit just came in the mail and holy jesus do I love it I might have to get rid of all my other stuff that doesn't quite fit me also I just finished bidding on the exact same suit but with side vents in a nice solid deep navy I think I will have both of them for a long time

please note this is before tailoring I am lengthening the sleeves ever so slightly, adding some more waist suppression and hemming the pants to a minimal break with no cuffs, I have decided cuffs just don't work for me, but other than that this this fits great!! right? please tell me if I am wrong but I freaking love this thing, barely any padding more summer weight 1/4 lined with nice ass fabric, only thing I would change is move the button stance up about an inch but damn this thing is nice. please excuse the bad hair I just got back from the shooting range also check out that lands end tailored fit cutaway collar shirt I highly recommend it you can get it for something in the 10-20 range

also shout out to ellsbebc for the suit the $50 price was very nice! only thing I noticed was a hole in one of the pockets but that is an easy fix!

Got the curse of the long monkey arms I see. LOL

Sleeves just a tad too short and the pants are just a tad to long. $40 to get it fixed.

Sadly, not Holland and Sherry cloth or made in England.  But nonetheless, this one is headed to the 'bay as completed listings are very promising.

Oh, the most shocking thing to happen today was this.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boglioli-Coat-3-roll-2-Blazer-100-Linen-Size-Euro-50-US38-40-/281020778186?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&nma=true&si=COnxjKopsr3gxwaq2MgWw9bIEgk%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

I put in a bid almost a week ago and was stupefied to learn that nobody challenged me.  A super popular size on a very unique item from an in vogue house.  Boglioli is rare on eBay, let alone at a starting bid of $50.  I remember seeing some ridiculous Boglioli madras SCs a couple months ago for $145 BIN, which disappeared within hours.  Beyond stoked to rock this in 7 months..

Oh man, this reminded me of how much I love my Coat bright ass orphan seersucker pants!

Looks ok, but not sure, that era was heavily faked.

Shoes are by Crockett & Jones, well done.

Your awake early and I'm awake late lol.

Should I have picked up the RL? It was $35 and the Dior was $100. Worth the risk?

The Dior is a pass I think, unless you know 100% its real. The RL shoes are a instakop.
