Also grabbed these two Harris Tweeds. The blue one is one of the nicer Harris Tweeds I've thrifted. Both have patch pockets
That was by far the most frustrating interaction I have had on SF... lol...
They're decent, but not crazy expensive or anything like that.
I'm always after a good aran sweater, but they're pretty hard to come by. I found a light blue one once that sold on Ebay for $30 more than I paid for it (paid $10).
What size are you??
Medium/Large depending on how the sizes run.
This pair is actually pinpointable to the exact year. AE started using the "Handcrafted World of Allen Edmonds" slogan in 1982. McAllisters were available for several years prior to spring 1982 under the catalog number 6271, but in fall of 1982 they switched the catalog number to 6275. So yes...early 80's....spring of 1982 to be exact.
A little more on McAllister. They were an original model in 1956 and were in the rotation until 1959 with the catalog number 4473. They came back in in 1979 with the number 6271 until 1982. They switched numbers again in '82 and stayed that way til 1997. They have not been available since '97.
EDIT: they were brought back again in 2009 and are currently available
WhhhAAAAA?! This is crazy! I'ma call you Professor Wes from now on!
I've sold a woman's Carraig Donn knit sweater for around $35.

Wow! You get to wear some cool stuff for work!
Sorry Ken, it's a L but fits like a XL...
Ahhhh dude! Those are so freak'n nice! But to find them on a thrift? That's insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Goddamn! Love the suit and the Barcardi cufflinks! Major props!!! +100,000 thrift points!!!
(I APOLOGIZE FOR TERRIBLE PICS)
3/2 roll, patch pockets, double vented, 30% cashmere 70% wool, strange combination of details, tag makes it look pretty dated, and theres not a formal maker's tag. the quality is extremely high. for some reason i think Spoo could turn this into "hunnits" as cosbysweater puts it
cool purple shetland sweater from lands end. tagged XL fits like a medium-large, probably holding on to.
Pros: Zegna by Incotex, relatively recent, staple navy wool trousers
Cons: Pleated, size 40 x 28
Also got a pair of Chocolate Zegna Sport cords and Olive Incotex trousers, same size. If this size works for anyone, get at me
Another odd combination of details. Brand new (you can tell) Patagonia fleece vest, but organic yogurt brand plastered on front. I feel like there is someone at Whole Foods right now who would buy this.
