They're decent, but not crazy expensive or anything like that.

I'm always after a good aran sweater, but they're pretty hard to come by. I found a light blue one once that sold on Ebay for $30 more than I paid for it (paid $10).

So yes...early 80's....spring of 1982 to be exact.

A little more on McAllister. They were an original model in 1956 and were in the rotation until 1959 with the catalog number 4473. They came back in in 1979 with the number 6271 until 1982. They switched numbers again in '82 and stayed that way til 1997. They have not been available since '97.

EDIT: they were brought back again in 2009 and are currently available

WhhhAAAAA?! This is crazy! I'ma call you Professor Wes from now on!

Sounds about right. The stuff is not top of the line, but definitely trendy and good for an ebay flip. If it's a Medium, hit me up biggrin.gif
Now would be the time to start an eBay account, that is CASSSSSHH. Shame that ZegnaSport vest is to big for me!

Sorry Ken, it's a L but fits like a XL...

I don't know about his schedule really, but I know he's a fairly conservative dresser. Would that be an appropriate gift?

He might not wear it for closing arguments at a murder trial, but there would be plenty of other opportunities to wear it. In my experience, attorneys who spend a lot of time representing criminal defendants are not known for their sartorial acumen (think black pants and blue blazers, Ecco shoes, etc.).

I was at Marshall's, found a pair of Rag and Bones pants and a pair of Theory pants. Both were size 34 (I think) and $70 each. Anyone interested in a proxy? I'm trying to build some good karma points, nah mean? fistbump.gif

There will be plenty of opportunities to wear it. Most court appearances are NOT situations where the judge is going to care what tie you are wearing. Most are pro forma. Unless its a high worth white collar crime, the client is not going to care much either.

(I APOLOGIZE FOR TERRIBLE PICS)

3/2 roll, patch pockets, double vented, 30% cashmere 70% wool, strange combination of details, tag makes it look pretty dated, and theres not a formal maker's tag.  the quality is extremely high. for some reason i think Spoo could turn this into "hunnits" as cosbysweater puts it

cool purple shetland sweater from lands end.  tagged XL fits like a medium-large, probably holding on to.

Pros: Zegna by Incotex, relatively recent, staple navy wool trousers

Cons: Pleated, size 40 x 28

Also got a pair of Chocolate Zegna Sport cords and Olive Incotex trousers, same size.  If this size works for anyone, get at me

Another odd combination of details.  Brand new (you can tell) Patagonia fleece vest, but organic yogurt brand plastered on front.  I feel like there is someone at Whole Foods right now who would buy this.
