What's the consensus on Pendleton shirts? The local Savers has a bunch priced at $30 but it was a half off day... I passed except for a shirt/sportcoat thing... pretty crazy really. Was I wrong to grab it?

Also found a recent red Womens Marmot Tamarack jacket in Medium... a little big on the GF so it might be available.

Great score for $15--I love those Pendleton shirt/jackets. Fifteen bucks for Pendleton shirts is also a good deal so long as they are for you. Not much flip margin, though.

This Pendleton was for me :) the others would have been flippers as not my size so I'm glad I passed.

I found this Canali jacket today. I think its super recent, it has no padding what so ever in the shoulders and its a perfect fit.

 

What do you guys say, orphan or sc? I think i can rock it as a sc anyway. Could you guys also date the jacket?

Tben, that suit is $.  I'm so glad it's not a 36R, because then I would be much more anxious. 

 

 

I would say that's a good start.  I think the kids are wearing button-down collars these days.

This is the only thread where $15 is too much for a three-piece suit as awesome as that one. Nice find man.

 

i can't make out the pattern enough to tell how it works as an SC, but if you like it then go for it

Is Turnbull & Asser stuff worth picking up? my local goodwill has a LOT of it, but a lot of it's pretty overpriced..$75 for suits, $20 for shirts etc..but if it's worth it i might pick some up.

If you buy in bulk, you should be able to get a discount ($15 or less for those shirts). I never ask at the cheaper places, but I will usually try to bargain at the expensive GW, especially for a bulk purchase.

Went for a run today. Got some flat-front BB pants for myself, so not a complete loss if I get knocked around (again) for my other purchase.

Lapels look pretty wide and low gorge to me. Its old HF, if you don't usually pick that up then i'd have left this.

You could make profit on 20 TA shirts, prob not a ton, but prob worth it IMHO. At least kop any sea island quality for 20, also i've never even seen a TA suit, but i would bet that its worth more than $75 looks like ebay min is about 100, max 3-5 hundo.

Yup. I remember reading about them and thinking that they wouldn't have them at any of my local Marshalls because they seem to specialize in Tommy Hilfiger, Polo RL and Fubu. Lo and behold, a pair of raw RRLs were draped over the jeans rack like they were looked at closely and left without being hung back up. It's like it was meant to me! Only pair in the store too - only pair I've actually seen in a Marshalls to this date.



If it's in nice shape, desirable colors and patters, suits have recent styling and are in normal sizes that is a decent price. I usually can move a shirt for $40-$60. Never seen a T&A tailored piece.

 

Thanks guys! I know I know. But it is like a Guy Laroche or whatever. But this thing has awesome detailing, is union made, canvassed. I figured because it didn't have a heavy name $15 might be too high.

 

Did you buy this for yourself? HF made G&H licensed stuff doesn't really flip well on the Bay. It's really dated, too. Sorry, bud.

I was pretty sure I was making a mistake. Oh well. Wish I knew what I was doing.
