Great idea. I will definitely do that the next time I head in. They were so nice.

Is there a bigger ass stain than Nick Wooster? This dude's looks are 100% herb. Any why the fuck is he always just walking around? Find somewhere and stay there for a while broham. Although HansderHun disappoints me greatly by not looking like Peter Pan (as I imagine all Austrians should), he's obviously and infinitely better dressed than Wooster.

My experience with thrift store workers leads me to invariably believe that they are generally at risk for type 2 diabeetus. So with regards to the doughnuts, I urge caution. Sugar diabetes are a curse, not a gift. Maybe consider healthy snacks?

Apparently the creative director (or whatever) at JC Penney now. Maybe he can just walk around different Penney's stores?

Wooster isn't even a designer or anything, SW&D had a short thread on his new work at JCP that I thought was kind of interesting, even if it was only 14 posts long.

Hey fellas, looking for an authenticity check. Judging by this I'm thinking it's a legit mid-eighties piece, but I'm a little wary since I rarely find such stuff near me.  Very nice trousers with pick stitching and "Gucci" in white-on-white on the waistband, but not posting more in case I decide it should go to my Secret Santa recipient...

Go for it. I don't find myself wearing suits much as gorgeous as that is, so...

On another note, I had my first "regular" encounter at a SA near me. One of the lady's came out with a cart full of stuff, she recognizes me and we chat briefly. She asks what I am looking for, and I say "everything." She sees that I am wearing PRL and starts sifting through the cart looking for stuff to show me. She actually found a decent classic mesh polo that was three bucks. Then, she went into the back to find stuff for me, but came up short.

Then...I get to the checkout counter. There is the manager there (who once botched the discount day once for me several months ago, but he exceeded any mistake by give me a credit far and beyond the mistake he had made). He greets me, remembers me, looks at the cashier and says, "give this man the senior discount, we will see him again."  I pushed my luck and ran back to grab a chocolate banana republic velvet blazer and a Ted Baker chocolate blazer that I wouldn't have paid full price for.  Such a neat moment to have one employee scouring the back for an item (despite not actually wanting what she was looking for) and another proving me an incredible discount.

See, some times nice guy finishes first.

That's real. And old.

I stopped by a store on my way home from picking up a new coffee table and grabbed a couple of things.

First, a pair of vintage American Optical Calobar's. I love these but they are too big for my head. Very unfortunate.

Second is this unbranded field watch. It looks like a Timex, but I can't find any markings to confirm/deny. Does anyone have any idea? It looks good, so if it works I'll change the band and wear it, but if not, at least I'm not out much.
