There's as good a likelihood of there being Belstaff leather jackets there as XS and S size To Ki To pieces.  Unless I'm crazy, I'd imagine those were the most popular sizes.  More than likely you'll see L and XL To Ki To...and probably not the high dollar tweed jammers.   

 

The one I'd really be after is the Camo Sapper...but that's the fattest of all chances in hell.

Today is Remembrance Day in Canada. Both my wife and I work for government so we both get tomorrow off as a day in lieu. The best thing is the kids still have school! I hope to hit a few spots tomorrow.

In the spirit of what Hansderhund started (not the baking, though I do have a small income stream from baking artisan bread) I thought I'd share a slice of life from where I live. Spoilered, of course. But if you want to see a man take his life into his hands, click below.

BTW, hansderhund, lovely pictures. I was in Austria and points farther east almost 20 years ago and loved it. We have friends in Berlin who want us to visit so who knows, I might be in your neck of the woods at some point in the near future.

Every November we have the Canadian Finals Rodeo. Tons of cowboys from across North America attend, and I've seen Australians and Kiwis too. I took a few of my kids today.

I've been to rodeos here and in Montana. Great stuff if you ever get the chance to attend. Big cities usually have a lot of glitz and fireworks (as per the video) but in small towns it can be a more by the seat of the pants. There appear to be less controls there and I see more injuries at these kinds.

We saw this today: a guy who really went through the ringer on a bull.

Best rodeo movie ever: Junior Bonner, by Sam Peckinpah starring Steve McQueen. Fantastic opening sequence. The movie really catches the spirit of what these guys are all about.

Picked these up tonight. Not exactly GW prices, but I didn't mind since I'm going to keep one, and the other should do okay on the bay. I did get them to knock $20 off the total - this being the only GW I usually bargain at because it's so expensive.

I picked up a Chester Barrie 100% cashmere SC that looks very similar and went unsold on eBay.  Vented, quarter lined...definitely not dated looking.  Maybe because I didn't get the PTO bump?

Prolly cause it wasnt a Zegna. laugh.gif I have very hit or miss results with CB. Sometimes its great-ish, sometimes its a flop. You never know.

I like the idea of getting a glimpse of others' "real world." How many months of the year do you guys receive snow? I'd love to see the countryside in your area!

I was afraid of that. I have two Chester Barries that I listed tonight and I'd love to wear either if they were my size. I have hope that the green tweed will go over well as it's already gotten a lot of attention.

I'm hoping that isn't my fate with this cashmere CB. I bought it for me but the seller messed up the measurements and I decided to resell it rather than return it. It's really the softest thing I've ever touched.
