For what it's worth, I got told about it too when I started following and posting in the thread last year.....see below.

Sure, we all like the occasional suit we get for 15 bucks and sell for 250 or 300; but that's the super-rare event for most of us. Trying to force that to happen with random thrifted vintage BB and old YSL is one of the things I hate most about Ebay.
Also, does it rub anyone else super the wrong way to just post pictures and then an ebay auction link? He even used his auction titles as the link text... to be honest I'm wondering if this qualifies as out-and-out spam?
Back to the usual....
AlanC : OH MY GOODNESS! haha, that's really something else. I love seeing random unusual bits of old BB - or even just the uncommon, like the track jacket or white turtleneck I have/had, or a red leather women's jacket I left at a yard sale a year or so ago.
dwcopple - that auction is actually the one I based my price on. Figure mine are near-stone-mint and I do free shipping so 50 bucks is a bargain. Small world, eh? wink.gif
Oh, and tonylumpkin - whatcha doing with the wide-shouldered Oxxfords? If they're suitable for larger size suits I might be interested in working something out, assuming they're available.

BTW guys, this weekend was my Styleforum Birthday.

Some brand new AE MacNeil Black Shell Cordovan I believe ...

Oh yeah, there should be a dot between the 3 and the 9 on the price tag. No comments about the dirty carpet either- it's at work.

Some great finds from you guys lately. I am encouraged that the thrifts will be good to me over the next couple of weeks because all the Halloween costume hunters are gone and the ugly Christmas sweater hunters wont be out for a couple of weeks.

Picked up this pair of Brunello Cucinelli flat fron khakis. 36X 33.5 available

Some recent finds (the Aldens were found a few weeks ago, but I never came around to posting pictures).

A baby blue half-zip sweater (not available):

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Yes, it's what you think it is:

Unfortunately, it also had a few spots (seem to have come out), a zipper that gets stuck, and a snag on one of the elbows.

I need to figure out how to take better pictures of shoes, my pictures are terrible...

Allen Edmonds burgundy Waldens (probably not available):

Gucci vintage brown wingtip tassel loafers (size 41.5 B/8.5 B, available):

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Bally Cabriel black plaintoe bluchers (size 10 E, available):

Alden black captoe bluchers (size 10.5 D, available):

Allen Edmonds Lubbocks (size 13 EEE, available):

The shoes were too large for the prior owner, so he had heel pads installed in them, which I don't believe are removable (or rather, removing them would require a lot of effort).  There are also tongue pads in the shoes which are obviously easily removable.  The upside is that these shoes clearly haven't been worn much, so they are in pretty good condition.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Damn, 3.99 for those AE. A local GW was charging 25 for a pair that looked like they were put through a wood chipper.

Those gucci tassels are nice, not usually a fan of tassels.
