Spoo hit the please blog about my items jackpot! They have showcased about 20 of his ebay items, great stuff!

Don't intend to hate and I haven't checked it out yet, but if that's true, that's a little silly. Don't get me wrong, Spoo has great stuff, but why not just put a link to his store if they're going to do that?

Only picked this up because evolsty posted one and it seemed to get positive feedback. Basic black trench coat. Size 48 (seems to be US), made in Belgium. Let me know if anybody is interested as I've got a week to return.

Just for a laugh, care to tell me how many PMs you got?

On a side note, I really hope 70% of this thread just didn't know about Raf Simons and has been avoiding it until now, and that huge loads of Raf stuff will start to appear here now that the dam's burst open.

So, I was texting back and forth with another forum member today, each of us at different shops and he said he found a nice topcoat, to which I responded by complaining that a decent topcoat was the only article of clothing I had yet to find.  Literally, right after texting him, I stumble upon this....

Awesome looking, great shape, certainly.  But then I open up the pocket to see this...

Aside from a slight amount of discoloring near the neckline (which I think my amazing new dry cleaner will be able to get out anyway), it's pristine.  Lining is great, outside is great.  Amazing.  It fits me perfectly in the chest, though the sleeves are definitely too short, but I'm going to beg/plead/bribe my tailor to get it to work.  N/A.

Ok, so I'm not 100% perfectly tailored (usually in the trouser inseam dept) but I don't even get an honorable mention?
Srsly, tho. Dig started the thrift fit trend, and I think most of us have not intended it be an opportunity for critique, like waywrn. I kind of like the liberation that brings; this thread is much less uptight (read: bitchy) than others. I like that. There are many reasons I post far more often here than on waywrn, and my absolute lack of sartoriality is just one of them. To be sure, many sins are committed here. But my view is: I'd they're not of a mind to be seeking input and correction, then I'm not of a mind to provide it. I'd just as soon maintain the mutual support and healthy (well, relatively speaking) discourse here.
Folks want to learn to dress better (and/or in a mood outright abuse), they can go to waywrn.

NICE! Those are great, classic colors/patterns. Enjoy - they look mint. That last jacket you posted is mind-blowing.

Lots of stuff today including Willis & Geiger bush poplin cargo pants, NWOT Filson 702 weekender sweater (XXL) and an Oxxford medium gray pinstripe suit (43 T, flat front pants, 2 btn jacket), etc.

My favorite find of the day was this vintage down insulated wool rancher coat by Eddie Bauer. Size L (it is available and fits a little on the larger side). Made in the USA. Approx. dates to the mid 80's. Has a label I've never seen before. Coat as left in a friend's car, but I'll get better pics when I retrieve it.

Also got a stack of old Whole Earth catalogs, Woodstock Craftsman's Manuals 1 & 2 and an early 70's softcover book called Living on the Earth which fits the theme of the other books and goes into detail on basics to living off the land. Part of the big "back to mother earth/commune" craze of the early-mid 70's. Cool stuff.

Any 17 35s out there looking for some shirts? I picked these up tonight and would like to pass the lot along to a thread regular for cost + shipping and gas. All in good condition (a few pulled threads on the Golden Fleece), fresh from the dry cleaner. Wish these fit me, but knew someone here would appreciate them.

Golden Fleece light blue with stripes, spread collar, french cuff, MOP
Ben Silver blue and white pencil stripes, cutaway collar, MOP
Ben Silver yellow and white university stripe, button down collar
Ben Silver white with blue stripes, spread collar, french cuff, MOP
Ben Silver ecru, spread collar, french cuff, MOP
Ben Silver light blue, linen, spread collar, MOP
Ben Silver peach/orange, linen, point collar (XL)

And a few more, not available:

Golden Fleece, contrast collar, MOP
Ben Silver mini gingham, MOP
Ben Silver pink, MOP
Ben Silver coral and white stripes, MOP
