Do you really think ... that it is weakness that yields to temptation? I tell you that there are terrible temptations that it requires strength, strength and courage, to yield to. To stake all one's life on a single moment, to risk everything on one throw, whether the stake be power or pleasure, I care not -- there is no weakness in that.

Those could not have been two more diametrically opposite posts. The conjecture of personality on this thread is amazing.

+1

Reminds me of an online post I read when Spitzer got caught with the call girl. One post pleased with readers to not judge the girl harshly, that prostitution was a cry for help. Right after that one was someone who dismissed her as a typically trashy Jersey Shore slut. The entire scope of human compassion and feeling in 2 posts.

Well played.

I had to dig this one up as I couldn't remember it in its entirety:

The perfect have no need of others, but weakness has, for it seeks support and does not confront its partner with anything that might force him into an inferior position and even humiliate him. This humiliation may happen only too easily when high idealism plays too prominent a role.

Most of the PMs for secret santa have been sent! I still have a couple left, so don't panic if you haven't received yours yet.

I made a joke to my wife though that I should have told everyone that they got my name in the gift exchange. I'd then receive 40 gifts and disappear devil.gif

Obviously I didn't do that, but if you have any questions, let me know!

Got mine, really appreciated the work you've put into this for all of us.

I went out today to look for a secret santa gift. Found nothing. But I did pick this up for $9. I shall see if it fits my wife.

It's legit, correct?

And here are the shoes from the last two days, cleaned up and ready for action.

One bummer from today. I took the BB University Shop coat into a reweaver, who said nothing could be done. I'll go in for a second opinion. But I did learn that it's pure cashmere. So, I guess, it could be worse.
