Big shout outs to Henry Boogers for hooking me up with a kick ass light grey, canvassed Paul Stuart Tweed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The down side it's too small for me... Boogers is a great guy to do business with.

 

Anyhow, I really like it even it's a bit too small. I might post the jacket on the trading thread after I stare at it for 2 weeks and take a bunch of pictures of me busting through it.

It is a 44, This is a 40S though.

Went this evening for my 3rd time this week... Previous 2 trips have been fruitless and I was pretty discouraged when the first place I went this evening was also dry. I went to another place I don't go very often because it's been pretty bad. There I finally found some stuff:

 

a VERY recent MTM HSM brown with blue windowpane suit, really gorgeous. I think it's around a 46

a nice Nordstrom Harris Tweed, I think around a 38

a Scottish wool tartan scarf

2 HF ties, one a wool / cotton / silk blend

Happy to announce NONE OF THIS IS AVAILABLE, as it all fits me.

 

First off I can't believe how many camouflage jackets I passed by in the previous weeks without a thought, and now that I needed one for my costume concept, they were all but gone. Could hit up a surplus shop but they're making a killing right now, and I'm not feeling like being a part of that for a single use item... So I found this stuff:

Generic jungle camo thermal shirt in xxl, and a really old Banana Republic jacket (says banana republic safari and travel clothing co).

 

Next, this loud ass beauty, perfect weight and fabric for fall

Also at the same shop, they rolled a cart out and everyone was going ape shit as usual grabbing stuff (most of it went back to the cart after the melee). There was a fat stack of vinyl that was ignored, so I grabbed it and found a nice dinette set to see what was goin on. Most. Random. Collection. Ever. It was basically every Kiss album, every Monkees album, Twisted Sister, Look what the cat dragged in from Poison, a whole bunch of Ozzy, and some random stuff. Really fun looking through all of it. My take:

Stoked to have some solid Randy solos on vinyl, and phono comb is some instrumental modern surfy type stuff from Canada.

 

Another shop netted me this neat little guy

 

Works well and oscillates perfectly. For $8 I figured it's a neat decoration and also works. Needs to be cleaned up but I dig the patina.

hey guys great finds today,

need some more advice for what to wear because I trust you more than the guys on wywt, I would have had more time to thoughtfully plan something else but when on a bit of a bender today, moral of the story is shrooms are bad and so are depressing movies, also everyone has major issues, anyway I have to go to a junior statesman thing tomorrow that i wasn't notified about until 30 min ago so please help me decide what jacket to wear

first is my base okay fit wise and stuff??

 

okay first jacket, sleeves are way to short, collar is not porpotional to lapels ect but I only have two jackets not at the tailor right now :/

second one is the pinstripe orphan but I actually fits me current pictures are not available because my phone is wack so look at this other picture with the jacket instead, I have a hard decision to make also I have no idea what I am looking at in this picture and yes my mirror needs to be cleaned
