This thread has me intrigued...I may need to find some thrift shops and take a peek.  You guys are finding some sick stuff.

Not exactly thrifted...but gifted...pop retired and gave me bunch of ties.  Probably from late 80's thru early 2000's.  The first bunch was Zegna and BOC.  He still has a few more boxes of ties that he says I can have.

These aren't exactly my style...but they were free!

These ties should have retired with your dad. Quality ties, but look like Frasier circa 1995. You aren't planning on wearing them are you?

+1 but the rest should be donated on your first thrift trip.

Good haul this weekend. Mostly shirts: Loro Piana, Zegna (x2), Hickey Freeman, Boss (?), Canali (x2), Tommy Bahama. Plus a recent Burberry London side vent 3 button jacket. Perhaps I'll get time for photos later, but I also got these and cant find any info on them. Anyone know anything?

True!

Not planning on wearing...not my taste.  These are more my style:

Just really been enjoying this thread and this was the closest that I have to "thrifted" stuff...will contribute properly after my first thrift run (assuming I find something.)

I will either donate or hold for another 20 years until they come back into style smile.gif

Definitely my best weekend ever. After yesterdays haul, today I picked up a vintage Brooks Brothers suit and sportcoat, a Zegna 15milmil15 suit, 2 recent Zegna sportcoats, and an Attolini sportcoat. Not quite thrift pricing, but I'll do OK. Left behind a couple of Zegnas that were too pricey and 3 or 4 Oxxford bespoke sportcoat/odd trouser combos that were huge. Oh, and two other Attolini pieces (summer suit and SC) that had moth damage. I was crushed about those.
