I KNOW one of you guys knows something about Hudson Bay point blankets, maybe one of our neighbors to the North? What can anyone tell me about this label, the research i've done so far seems to indicate that its from the 20's? Possibly worth a few hundred? Its a 4 point.

Had a pal zileri sartoriale up a little bit ago, barely got any bites. I wouldn't pick it up again :/

the Concept jacket will sell, probably for $75ish if it's dual vent. anything else is best at BIN or best offer, and wait it out, there are people that seek out pal zileri

(All tentatively unavailable unless you have Leicas or size 12 Aldens nod[1].gif)

Went to a shop that has never been any good (though not for lack of inventory) and had a few goodies waiting for me in the form of

The RRL train kept rolling for me. Found the greenie first, and thought there couldn't just be one. Sure 'nuff, the heavy as hell western shirt reared its head from the women's coat rack of all places. Love the care tag, which is on the front of the shirt below the buttons.

Didn't someone mention yesterday that Malo was bueno?

I think it needs a sweater stone taken to it, and luckily the content tag was still there (hanging by a thread). Strange yellow/olive green mix, soft as clouds.

Then I walked across the street to a tiny little vintage furniture shop and found my favorite find of the day:

Now, I knew this existed, but wasn't actively looking for it. I saw a stack of vintage Life mags and remembered there was a cover with Land on it, so I dug into the pile. 3 magazines down I was face to face with it. I may have to scan the cover and get a huge print made for my place.

The next stop netted this J Crew Mackintosh styled jacket.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Of course I didnt realize it was missing the top button till I got home. Might be semi easy to track down.

Wrong thread, I know, but any idea how old this tag is?

No content tag to be found. Guessing all wool.

Also those are the only tags on it, the size tag (mostly hidden here) says 44R but here's the catch, this thing fits me. Like, it fits me with room to spare.

Lining is gold satiny silky lining-e

Assuming J Crew produced this themselves and not someone else, right? Schooling welcome.

Yesterday's grabbies for me (not available)

Nordy's superfine merino wool sweater, and a little pocket square action.

I'd just read something recently in these. I didn't know they were made in England.

By my best estimate, there's ~1200 ties, 200 shirts, 200 pants, 70 suits

Absolutely insane! Wow! You've definitely taken Pejsek's place on this forum and then some!

I don't know much about the label, but the higher the "point" number, the more they fetch; obviously due to size. Age definitely plays a factor too. Never seen one that old before. I'm sure you'll get at least $150+ for it if it's in good shape.

Oh, sup guys...

Any thrift minutes for the last, eh, oh, ~ 1,000 posts or so? Fallout: New Vegas was a smashing find, the coolest, really, but at level twenty and all the major factions still armed and dangerous, I'm afraid there's no end in sight... shog[1].gif

I did come up for air today and found this blue militar-ish size 38 G. Versace sport coat thingie that is totally a little bit mystifying -- same black Made in Italy collar tag as on all the good brands, the fit and styling is intriguing, there's a little white square sized tag appropriately placed for something designer (it looks like the ones on Margiela shoes), but otherwise, no content tags or anything. Guess I'll have to take some photoz and use the Spoo signal.

That is my request and brag for the day. Hope you dudes are killin' it.

So I hit up a shop I haven't been to since mid August. It's a pricey shop, but they always have something good there (last time I landed rlpl and eton). They had tons of sport coats from a guy juuuuust a bit bigger than me, and that was heart breaking (left behind at least 5 SC's with some percentage of cashmere. Anyway I tried on a BrooksBros jacket, possibly an orphan, and it fit perfectly, shy of maybe being a bit short in the sleeve. Then I realized I tried it on in August as well. This is a no returns shop so I'm really on the fence.

Talk me in off the ledge... It's a dark charcoal, what can I pair that with successfully (not the best place to ask I suppose but I'd appreciate your opinions)? It was also $55... If it'd been $10, I'd would have left with it. Pretty sure they have a 20% off thing going right now as well (hmmm). Am I crazy for leaving it? Also left some Barbera pants that had a tailor's marks on the inside of the legs  to be taken in in the crotchal region...Between that and pleats I figured no bueno.

At $55 and the fit is off, I would leave it. I've found a nice BB Camel hair jacket that was tagged $50. I was outraged! You should be able to find something nice in your size at thrift prices soon enough.

Fosho bro, just let me dig them out from under the pile. uhoh.gif

I just received my Venetian shoe cream and I'm too lazy to apply them to my shoes.

Wow that RRL work shirt! What size is that? If it's a Medium, and my size, can I make an offer?

I've read Malo is a high end Italian brand.
