~70 suits, mostly Brioni (Click to show)

By my best estimate, there's ~1200 ties, 200 shirts, 200 pants, 70 suits

So dm7, how does it feel to be a (thrift) god among men?

All I want is one cool Kiton shirt at a bargain price. Is that too much to ask?

I have a pair of longwing gunboats with a V-cleat but only one row of nails and w/o the five nails in the sole. I think they may be either old J&M or Hanover. The numbering is very much like yours.

I sold a pair of Nettletons in this style to a guy in Germany, and they were the newer Nettletons during that short period between quality going downhill and them closing. I didn't make a whole lot, but I doubt you will have trouble selling yours, especially with the Zegna name.

Holy smokes, dm7.

On the white whale subject, I've never found a Savile Row suit, and I've never found a great stereo receiver.

Yeah that's the thing. The pictures on the ebay auction make it evident that these are the real deal IMO.

Note the buttons, the most common numbers are actually 2, 5, & 6 denoting their manufacturing factory.

In addition, I believe that the selvedge line is actually different.

This is the vintage pic from the auction. It is plain and without stitching.

Modern ones looks like this. Pic of LVCs

Hmm. Hanover with a cleat should have the silk oval window too...so you could probably rule them out. How bout some pics of the sole/heel and foot beds.

It looks to me like there is yellow stitching in there, but that it's blurred into the white by the shallow depth of field.

Bokeh can be pretty, but is the enemy of validation and scrutiny.

Hopefully there people out there looking for these and willing to trade. I am a 38R, 30x32 pants and size 9.5E shoes.

I "moved" the shoe ident to the labels thread, if that works for you guys.

I thought the Alden pad was more rectangular shaped and a bit longer?  I definitely could be mistaken.  It does have the Alden "heel/sole" width measurement style, though the script doesn't look like Alden to me.  No idea.

Kinda, but the curve on the end isn't correct...neither were the numbers.. Ive never seen a foot bed like that one. The little notches are usually on the side, not on the end like that.
