To me shoes are the easiest to check - they're all laid out and so easy to eyeball shape, condition, form.

By Crom, and I thought the new Grensons I picked up were a temptation to flip. No way I'm selling them though. In my current situation, I'm not about to spend what would be needed to replace them, and it's unlikely I'll find something again of that level and style that fits me.

Too many guys post about items they've regretted selling. The money you'd make off them would just get sucked up someplace unmemorable, but keeping the shoes will be a constant reminder that you own something really nice.

Updates on the givenchy from earlier. Needs minor dry cleaning (and looks like it's seen the a dry cleaner a few times already frown.gif) and one of the buttons is cracked, but otherwise great shape. Color is navy, not black, in case that doesn't really show in pictures.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Ditto. Even if I can't be arsed to flip through all the crappy suits, I will *always* check shoes. I also find that they are easier for me to prep to flip. I clean, condition, polish, and shoot. With suits, measuring, hanging on a mannequin, etc, just seems like more of a pain in the neck. Maybe it's because I can do most of the shoe work sitting on my ass.

Speaking of which, grabbed a pair of 9C AE Chili Bradley today. Nice to have found at least *something*.

Congrats on that Givenchy find!

I've sold a pair around $30 and another pair of old Versace Signature with a stud missing for $84. WTF!

They look like they worn 1 day and maybe the dude didnt like the fit so returned them to whatever the retail store was that donated them.

Worst part of it all, theyre my damn size and fit like a glove. Why's that bad thing? Im broke and intended to buy them for flipping purposes. Ugh.

!!! Does that say size 8?

hooker, sorry i missed that post - real, but maybe $30-$40 at best.

Shoes first. Always.

Also... Lobbs?

For the love of all things holy, nice find. Maybe LA folk just aren't into Lobbs or something.

+1. I can scan a row of shoes in seconds and spot the pairs worth a closer look.

Angry tears of jealousy over here. Seriously though don't flip those, the best part of thrifting is skimming the cream for yourself. Nothing much tonight, another Ferragamo tie to add to the collection of low rotation neckwear. Saw some V2 stuff that i cant even pick up for ebay because of how ugly and cheap it looks.
