I used to have a pair of boots like that. Are they steel toed?

Also, I wish that Orvis tweed was a 52 EU... Nice!

Also, I never wear ties, and only know how to tie one tie knot, and just barely.

Send me an Hermes tie and I'll send you back a properly tied tie cheers.gif

Here are my finds from today. Didn't have much luck with the suits or the sportcoats but the shirt rack was on fire.
First up, this hermes. I think it's real but I could use an authentication! It's a little beat up so I'm not sure if it was really worth picking up but I couldn't leave it behind. What do you guys think?
Details (Click to show)

measurements (Click to show)
Tag size 40 aka 15 3/4 neck
P2P 22.5"
Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff) 25"

You did the right thing picking up a beat up old Hermes shirt. I saw one in a similar color and worse condition with a decent size rip - and it still flipped north of $80. I could probably wrap a festering maggot infested skunk carcass in a Hermes shirt and still flip it for a big wad of cash.

Sometimes I really wonder about the person who buys super primo brands in garbage condition. Certainly it doesn't look good and wearing beat up rags doesn't exude an aura of wealth. Oh well... if they pay me, I'll sell it.

^^ I sold a mint Hermès shirt on eBay recently for a whopping 10 bucks. I made the mistake of spelling "Hermès" correctly, with the accented character. Apparently eBay search treats "Hermès" and Hermes" as separate queries. baldy[1].gif

Lately:

shirts, in my size

—Brunello Cucinelli, striped
—Brioni with contrast collar, french cuffs
—Brioni with pencil stripes, contrast collar, french cuffs
—Zegna polo, recent

trousers

—Luciano Barbera herringbone donegal
—Paul Stuart wide wale cords in golden rod and khaki
—passes: Purple Label cords, Canali, Norman Hilton, Zanella

other stuff

—Pendleton robe (same flannel used for their shirts)

—Massimo Bizzocchi tie

—mid-century-looking coffee table (is this anything?)

After that pocket square it was all downhill. This is what I get for going to a different store than usual...

Blue/white snaggletooth. Can anyone make out that size? is it an L L for large long?

Everything kept coming up Ralphie. Saw an RRL waffle shirt sort of thing, that got me way stoked, and then I noticed the cuff was torn almost all the way off, and it had a few holes. ffffuuuu.gif

So I figured where there's one piece of RRL, there might be another. Sure enough...

Then I figured ok whoever this donor was, he probably rotated out a bunch of pieces,  I should really go check the pants.

Diggin this fly

Seriously heavy weight pants (chinos?). These are pretty popular aren't they? I need to figure out more about em in the RRL thread. Should be good ebay currency. Unless someone has some dope shoes in my size.

Left behind two really nice Borrellis due to their collars being swiss'd out.

What size is that sweater and what size are your shoes? biggrin.gif Those look like the real deal good RRL chinos. Are they selvedge?

PSA: A local discount store had some great blazers and outerwear (all NWT) for dirt cheap that I'd be willing to proxy if there's interest. Don't have the available funds to buy them and throw them on B&S.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Zegna Navy Blazer w/ brass buttons - 46L - $200

Hickey Freeman Charcoal Blazer - 44R - $200

Yes, lower button stance make bigger guts look a bit slimmer. But it looks outdated IMO because slim and a higher button stance is the present and future! LOL, ok, jkjk.

Steven Alan "store only" tag size l

Brioni Roma- no tag size, should I have grabbed?
