I think it's their new design they've been testing. I don't think everyone has it.

It comes and goes, they are testing it. Will be fully implemented soon from what I was told on the phone the other day.

I'm always logged in. Yep...mine still looks like the old format. I get all the new search results format, but the listing itself still looks the same.

Do you have to be watching the item yourself? I tried it both ways.

Check those buttons carefully, my gold buttons were on an Oxxford SC, the 14k stamp was on the back.

So, I came up on a Jil Sander, 2pc., Made in Italy suit a few weeks ago (thrifted of course). I bought it knowing it had issues and being the haggler that I am, I pointed out the defects at the register to get them to discount it (which by the way guys, try this, it works 99% of the time).

Anyway, the trousers had a missing button, not a big deal, I figure I could have replacements shipped to me directly from Jil Sander at no cost.

But the second problem is worrying me. Theres a tear in the lining, at the seam of the inner chest pocket. Does this look like an easy fix or is it advisable to have the entire lining redone?

If I gotta get it all redone, how much do you think it would run?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Got one with this the other day, already repaired. Bidders don't seem to mind. I have no idea what re-lining would cost, but I can't see that being necessary.

I think If I end up selling it ill just throw it up as is. Like you said, bidders dont seem to mind. I guess what im thinking is if its worth having investing the money to have it looking like new to get a higher selling price. Like, am I going to spend $200 to have it religned and the item only brings in an extra $50-$100 in tip top shape.

Anyways, I just emailed Jil Sander, that'll be tight if they say "bring it in to this store, we'll take care of it at no cost" haha. I doubt that'll happen though.

99% sure this is just a blatant Hermes keeper knock off, but just want to confirm. The lack of dry clean only/thread loop seem to confirm this. Hermes never made ties for other companies, right?

So yeah, the OzBoat I think is officially an orphan for good.

On the plus side, I did manage to grab this coat I had talked about a week or two ago. Excuse the women's coat on a men's form...

Pendizzy (Click to show)

Legit tag right?

Anyone's woman an 8? I know that women's sizing is all over the place, I'll grab some measurements later.

Nothin special, but she's clean and a solid coat.

I've been quoted $125-150 for re-lining a jacket. It's a lot of work, mostly by hand.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm trying to avoid ebay for now.
