Well I just spent too long looking for the OB's pants. Questioning whether I should hit up the other local GW's.

Found a mint condition, fully canvassed midnight blue tux made by Lloyd Bros. in Toronto, unfortunately too big for me (at least a 44 or 46), up for grabs.

Long day today. One of my kids had some minor surgery. My bit of learned wisdom from the experience: you know everything went well when 20 minutes after leaving your kid in the OR you see the surgeon behind you in the cafeteria line-up and he gives you a thumbs-up.

Anyway, picked this up last night. It's in great shape, and XL with p2p about 25".

I've generally restrained myself from picking up trench coats, the weight of them always seems a bit much for shipping, but I figure I can't wrong on ebay with a Burberry. I see a fair number of Aquascutum. Does anyone else have luck with these? They seem to be plentiful on ebay.

And a long-ago thrift update. This summer I picked up a 1920s, art deco chiffonier. I finally did a bit of (minor) reconditioning of it and we got it into another daughter's room this weekend. We could have had a complete set but a crew of 6 guys walked off (a la Ocean's 11) with 2 matching dressers from the SA that was selling it.

I finally had a day with enough brag-worthy finds to motivate me to post:

Alden shell for BB. Re-soled, but uppers are nice and fit me well:

Magee Donegal in 46L. Recent label. Available

Hopefully self-explanatory. Available

Recent Paul Stuart. Keeping

And for my wife. Any tips on authenticating? Thanks

Also, if you PM I will not be able to respond until Saturday afternoon.

Cheers,
O

Not sure what the technical name for this jacket is...any help would be great. No zipper only buttons. Button rain coat? No other tags to be found.

Me: It's okay, depends on the day

Guy: Ever do any hacking? Can you hack the DMV?

Me: No, I just build it. Never done any hacking, it's too dangerous

Guy: Okay, they've got this thing with DUI's now and I need someone to clear it. I'd pay good money.

Time to change things up a bit. I think it's alright to post this here - it was bought in pieces off of eBay and paid for with thrift funds, so I think that fits in with the theme of the thread. Plus it seems like there are enough bike enthusiasts here that won't mind. My (finally completed) new (to me) ride:

Right now I have it set up as a FSSS (full-suspension single-speed). Will possibly make it geared in the future, but so far I'm diggin' this.

Not positive, but I think the hidden placket makes it a "Mac."
