If not, I’ll fleabay it and use the proceeds for a pair of new Aldens.P1010580.jpgP1010583.jpgP1010582.jpgP1010581.jpgP1010584.jpg

I just met up with Frenchy and grabbed a Hermes shirt from him. He was moving some serious shoes! Too bad none of them fit.

Thanks for that. I wasn't sure. Made in Switzerland. Fully canvassed. Mainline eh?

So...

Double breasted, fabric seems like silk. Made by Lesley Roberts (now part of Welsh & Jefferies):

Hand attached lining:

Hand attached waist adjusters:

Hand pick stitching down the lapped leg seam

Interesting internal pocket arrangement:

Look closer at the buttons, and what is this? The SAS logo. So, made for someone who was urbane enough to pull off a tan silk DB suit, but could kill you with their bare hands:

Holy shit! If by 42R you meant 38R, send me a PM and I'll sell a kidney. Easily one of the best finds ever in this tread. worship.gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gifbounce2.gifdrool.gif

Definitely. The Z in the background is a fairly recent predecessor to the current label. You can see it on the tag for this Zegna Couture jacket I got thrifted on sold not too long ago.

While there are Z Zegna pieces made in Switzerland, if it's canvassed it ain't one of them.

first, shout to eazye for hooking me up in a trade w/ some rlpl trousers and a sick old school anorak and to noob for some mabitex khakis (tagged 32) which, while sweet need to find a new owner due to fit issues. both dudes were a pleasure to trade with.

also, regrettably letting go of these alden 563 i posted a while back as i have worn them out a few times and the fit isn't ideal. will want close to ebay prices for them.

past few weeks, not much time these days (Click to show)
tweed brooks bros. sc 2 button in 38S, may keep depending on who wants

khaki zegna 5 pockets tagged 34, made for ppl taller than me

346 w/ the old union tag in pow pattern, small moth hole in one arm, sweet beater if it works for you and you are 57 long

brooks bros. "fun" sport shirt in S. looks nwot

gant viyella shirt tagged L. wish i was larger for this one. pretty cozy.

'zeidler & zeidler' cream wool trousers, three pleats, tagged 30... looks like a mw store in dallas per google, anyone have any clue? they looked nice, lined to knee, locker loop in back waist, etc.

PRL linen trouser in cream. only picked these up b/c they were so clean (usually the linen around here is beat up)
[no pic unless you want 'em]

RRL chinos in red for a primordial dwarf or a skinny guy that wants to chop them into knickers. small stain in crotch. get over it and ride a shetland pony in these. tagged 28/30, leg measures 29"

then these, def some of the nicer trou i have seen since i started doing this. details on these are sick. embrace the pleats. tagged 36
