Im not only so impressed that you really get it, but quite flattered at your kind words.
Speaking entirely truthfully, My entire career started from one GW thrift trip (more on that in about 12 days), and I have a clear goal in mind of what I want my goal to be. Im making leaps and bounds towards it, and the goal is almost within reach. I thought the avatar was a great daily reminder to keep the focus.

Wait, 36 or 38? Measurements & availability?
Whaaa.... both perfectly my size?
Edit: Didn't register that was the Barrie last I'm the one wishing it were narrower, not wider...
I need to read more carefully (or when not drunk on sleep-deprivation)

Interesting. Do you think Alden Barrie last comes from Barrie booters? Both Alden and Barrie LTD are old, historied companies. However, I have not seen any made by Alden Barrie Booters shoes altough ebay sellers sometimes claim so because of the similar heels. I believe we have established over time that Barrie LTD shoes are made to their specifications: calf by Churchs/Cheaneys, shells by Hanover, and mocassins by Rancourt. Barrie LTD shoes in general runs true to size IMHO. I'll be happy to be proven otherwise of course.
Like the looks but I'd either wear a tie or unbutton a button or two
