Good Lord those boots are awesome! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gifI decided to put some Robert Graham bucks towards some Aldens as well...burgundy medallion captoe 908s. Now if I can just get myself to actually wear them out of the house without freaking out about ruining them!!

Do you have anything in a similar size that resembles this?

Yep...is that brown or gray? Having a hard time telling.

I forgot to share this Questionable Art contribution earlier this summer.  Found at a local garage sale.  I particularly like the moon, which looks more like a Death Star than anything.  Will take with me to my Montana Art Gallery Directors Ass'n meeting in a couple weeks and donate to the live auction.  Should be interesting.

Is that paint on black velvet? My wife had a bunch of that stuff (from her grandmother) when we first met. Some of it looked kinda neat, but I am glad it is all long gone now.

Grendel and Jowen, Impressed that you've plopped down some retail cash on Aldens. Everytime I want to I chicken out wow.gif

Anyway, here my finds from last week (everything's available except for the jcrew tie):

Normally pass on J Crew ties, but his one was 100% linen! I don’t have any linen ties so I got it. Wondering what to wear it with. Ok to wear in colder weather? The tie on the right is an unknown brand but it is a 6-7 fold.

Pretty sure this is a real Hermes. It has the loopy thread nod[1].gif . Pix color looks aqua but it is green. Hoping a stain around the neck area will come out . If not, I’m out $3.

Non thrift but clearance center deals. Dillards was having a 40% of clearance price sale that included their outlet/clearance store (most times it just applies to the main retail stores. Went in and picked up two Hickey Freeman sport coats and an Ing Lora Piana fabric suit:

Both sport coats were marked down to $199 from $895, then there was an additional 60% off, then because I have a Dillards charge card, another extra 40% off.......bottom line $47 each!!!!!!

The suit is a Daniel Cremieux gray pinstripe in Piana fabric, it was on the "mismatched" rack and the jacket was marked down to the same $199 from $695 because it was an orphan, looked three feet to the right and there were the matching pants! Total cost of  the suit after the -60% then -40%..... $47!!!

Pictures make it look blue but it's gray

:

Stopped at GW picked up 3 ties (under 3 1/2" wide):

Gucci (vintage 70's), Hermes, Calvin Klein

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Calvin Klein is a nice silver gray, perfect wedding tie

And also thrifted my first Porsche:

Wish I could find some of these in 10 EE. Liking an unusal size is not a good thing.

Speaking of not a good thing, we've all griped about Sean Jean's Script on a Purple Label, and also about Savanne's waistband before. Well, I've got a new one. Yesterday I was out thrifting and I saw

And it still had a tag hanging on it! I've only seen this on Incotex, so I was jazzed (even though not my size) until I looked at that tag

Barry who?! Well, maybe they're made by the same folks, or something, but no, these were fine made in China trou. cloud.gif
I ended up leaving empty handed after reuniting a Chaps suit for the good of humanity.

Dang!! Been after a pair of these (same style) for over a year now. If anyone finds a pair in 10.5 or 11, I'm your buyer!
