I was curious about that as well, but then I assumed maybe he wanted a pair of vintage boots when LL Bean boots were solidly made or something like that.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

It's made by Coppley, not Samuelsohn. If the article of clothing has a CA number (CA 00750 on yours), you can find the maker using the search tool on the Canadian Competition Bureau website here. The FTC maintains a similar database that you can search here for RN or WPL numbers.

What is a fair price for these:
LL Bean Made in USA Boots
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120987538947?ssPageName=STRK:MEBOFFX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1432.l2649
They are seconds(red line on tag), stained, dirty, and in an odd size, but the seller won't take less than $250.
Edit- Not related to seller in anyway, just looking to buy them.

Honestly, I wouldn't pay more than $100 even that seems kinda high.
They're cool, but no that old, and as other said available for as little as $150 new from LLBean.
That guy's dreaming, plus they'e a C width on a boot that's difficult to size to begin with.

Guys guys guys. I'm an officer of the court. I'm not sure I need any more detail than this, and even these kinds of details are probably too much.

3 stops today. Another PRL madras shirt, this one in purple and blue. Size L. Not sure I need 2, so if you're in the market for one, let me know. And a USA-made Pendleton wool scarf in excellent condition in a gray glenplaid with burgundy overcheck. Not available.

Also,

Kind of a "weave" pattern in dark charcoal with some beige, taupe and other colors, 38 x 30ish. Available.

Otherwise, the slimmest pickings I've just about ever seen lately.

They were supposed to be. Hmm. Does anyone what these are? They are Johnston & Murphy Optima Made in USA. I tried googling and could not find anything.

went out today and found five hermes ties at one goodwill. Not sure how to authenticate but I assumed at least one would be real. Most have that thread loop on the inside of the tie. I was pretty excited because i have never found a hermes before much less five. One of the keepers is falling off, can i take this to a tailor and have it fixed? once again I know everyone is tired of these tie authentication requests so I apologize.

Couldn't resist, stopped in a local GW. Snagged a versace tie (nothing too versace unfortunately) a BB makers tie, and a cool argyle 1/4 zip cashmere pullover for my bad self. ^^^ you need to send me the navy one second from the left, its fake, so ill cover your cost and shipping :)
