V. interesting.

I didn't have my mannequin when I did this. That's a cool idea. Going in from the front may be problematic though, due to the pockets and such. I should flip them inside-out and redo the photos though, and get a half-canvas in there. That's a ways back on the priorities list though, as you say.

Feeling tradly today.
Vintage tweed hounds-tooth from Wes
BB slim fit OCBD, thrifted
Vintage A&F wool tie from yesterday
Vintage anchor tie clip, thrifted

So I go to this place that just opened up down the street from me. It's one of those but/sell/trade stores. I walk in with two bags of stuff, hoping to dump it all off there. Woman at the counter tells me they are only buying shit that's "trending" right now. Think ass loads of Hollister, A&F, H&M and similar garbage. Needless to say, they didn't take much of my stuff (I take that as a complement). However, nestled in amongst the bullshit, I found this gem.


Walked out of there with this sexy PRL fair isle sweater and a crisp fiver in my pocket. lol8[1].gif

Was it platos closet? I found a couple of pairs of ray ban club masters and some apcs there they were all marked down on sale because people wanted true religions and oakleys instead

Walked into a 60k sqft warehouse on tuesday.... mind you, it was not all clothing, but there were about 2k items...

 

Highlights:

 

Shoes:

5 pairs of Church's (unworn - lightly worn) (ostrich, lizard, suede, leather)

 

Multiple of each below:

 

Jackets:

nwt: Gucci, Etro, Dolce & Gabanna, Moschino, Miu Miu, Burberry, Comme Des Garcons Homme+

 

Shirts:

helmut lang, bijan, 20 x crazy spoo-rific versace, issey miyake, dolce & gabbana, vivienne westwood, raf zimons, brioni, comme des garcons

 

and I'm closing another 2k item deal... more details on that after the break.

 

but uh... I'm taking real analysis and computability, and can't handle this thrifting/non-thrifting stuff... really overwhelmed...

 

just thought I'd share my frustration.

Few, I thought I was the only one that liked shirts. These aren't the greatest, but I have been working my balls off lately and haven't had an opportunity to get out. I was running some errands today and there happened to be a consignment shop in the same shopping center so I gave it a shot. Here we go, nothing that special but I believe brag-worthy nonetheless as they were picked up at more than thrift but what I believed to be fair prices.

The real is hard, but a bit of fun with the right mindset.  It's the computability that is bugging me the most.  The notation/conventions are very confusing.  Nothing worse than sitting for 2 hours trying to start a problem rather than finish it.

Yeah, I was doing Physics, not CS, so I didn't have that one. On the other hand, I had Intermediate Mechanics... When I say my Quantum Mechanics class was easy and fun by comparison it should give you a feel for it.

just to make you feel better, im close to a 35k piece deal! its a mix of mens and womens, will let you guys know if deal gets done
