Fair enough. Reminds me of a 'designer vintage' shop I was at the other day while on my trip to Berlin. Some nice Jil Sander, Acne and A.P.C. stuff (for prices below Ebay but above thrift) right next to old-ass YSL stuff.

 

Speaking of Berlin, I've had no luck at all with the thrifting here. Hit a few shops while I was walking through the town... the minimum price seems to be about 15 Euro for a 70s polyester orphan, and about 30 Euro for Boss. The only thing that was even OK was a Z Zegna suit... for 70 Euro. Might try a flea market on the weekend.

Thanks guys! As the quote above stated, this is the best haul I've had in a long while. Things have been consistent for me (IMO), but not great or crazy. This was one of those long-overdue motherlode hauls. Hope Lady Luck stays with me for awhile yet.






Glad to hear you're alright and back in the game! Nice finds, especially on the selvedge denim. Edwins are some of my favorite Japanese denim, even though they're pretty mainstream over there. Gonna pick up a couple pairs over there in a little less than a month.

This is the part that blows my mind. If this is accurate and not just some odd attempt to win the internets, then be prepared to have disappointing hauls for the rest of your life.

Picked up what seems like a pretty nice sportcoat today - black cashmere, patch pockets, Loro Piana fabric, only downside is it's unvented, but it fits me very well so I took a shot.

Any ideas on the maker?

My initial guess is fake based on how poorly that nova check lines up between shirt collar and back panel. I'm also not aware of their current shirts being made in US and that looks like a recent type label?

Those shoes look moldy

Burberry is real. Made by Gitman. Never was impressed with anything from them except their English made jackets. Their more recent HF-made suits/sportcoats are ok.
