Not a thrift store buy, but I got this on ebay for $35 (possibly from one of you).

Sorry to say, there's no such thing as an untapped resource in this area.

Or maybe something a little more tactful.

The clock is ticking on it, but I still prefer:

I liked the Obi-Wan gif someone posted a while ago: "These are not the ____ you're looking for." Of course, then we either have to settle for filling in "labels" in the blank, or changing the gif every time. (Not sure where it is, couldn't find it.)

Etsy people seem to be stupider like a couple years ago if you labeled any suit as "slim skinny mod vintage 60s" it would sell for way more than it was worth especially if it was a 3 piece and flannel

Fair enough. Reminds me of a 'designer vintage' shop I was at the other day while on my trip to Berlin. Some nice Jil Sander, Acne and A.P.C. stuff (for prices below Ebay but above thrift) right next to old-ass YSL stuff.

Speaking of Berlin, I've had no luck at all with the thrifting here. Hit a few shops while I was walking through the town... the minimum price seems to be about 15 Euro for a 70s polyester orphan, and about 30 Euro for Boss. The only thing that was even OK was a Z Zegna suit... for 70 Euro. Might try a flea market on the weekend.
