And Nataku, if you have anything in 40S...now that there is another 40S on this scene (Mr. ATL), I actually have to stake out territory early. :D

I have a gorgeous Hickey Freeman in a 40 R that might work. See photo. Charcoal pinstripe. Loro Piana Super 130s fabric.

Anyway, here's some pics - still trying stuff on to see what's being kept and what's finding a new home. Help me out guys - if you see something you want (or need), regardless of if it's available or not, PM me. I can use the money more than clothes. Plus, I know I won't have room for all of this in the closet. The wife is already on my case because my stuff takes up 2/3 of the closet! :laugh:

Recent winter weight (tweed feeling) Samuelsohn suit. (Avaliable)

Sizing on everything is about a 42 R except the HF which is a 40 R. Size labels are missing on most.

Daaang, nice! I really like a couple of those (particularly the windowpane Samuelsohn SC) so hopefully your guy gained a bit of weight... ;)

Also, tell your wife that after a crazy haul like that, you've got to have enough so that some of this sales $ I have dibs on for that MB suit! :devil:

BTW, the other day I passed on another Polo made in Italy dress shirt... I really just don't see a ton of market for the Polo made in Italy stuff. Where are you guys unloading it / is there something to how you do it that I'm missing? It's clearly good quality but if it's not my size... no return/exchange means I'm very leery of taking a chance on stuff.

Nat, I know you don't dress up for work. Do you ever get to wear any of the stuff you find?

Also, :slayer::slayer::slayer: to those jackets.

Haha, I hope!! I didn't really want to spend as much as I did but I couldn't leave all this amazing stuff behind. Especially when a good portion is headed for my own closet!

Not as often as I'd like to, sadly. I give my stuff 6 months in my closet. If it doesn't get worn, it gets sold or donated. With my thrfting hobby, it has to be this way unless I'm super crazy for it. Then it stays for a bit longer. This stuff will likely be worn on weekends and out to dinner dates.

A cool little side-story from today. As my buddy and I were pondering what to buy (we left a lot behind - some nice Hickey Freeman side vented sportcoats, Zegna side vented D/B suits (older), lots of double pleat Zanellas & Ballin trousers, etc) he picked up one of the Paul Stuarts he bought and out fell a recent (slim) iPod! Looked barely used, no scuffs or dings. A crazy day it was!

Damn Nat couldn't you find something in my size? I'm itching for a new suit but don't want to spend any money.

Yup, my friend made put with just about as much as I did. Paul Stuart, Hickey Freeman, Samuelsohns, etc. He got some nice Zanellas and some other odds and ends too. I'll see if I can't get him to post his stuff up. All were basic thrift prices. It all flew under the radar (thankfully!).

Nataku finds stuff that is on another LEVEL :slayer:
