Last night I went to a Marshalls I hadn't been to before, and I have to say, the stuff was still pricey, but seeing that much corneliani, zegna /trofeo, gucci, versace, rag and bone, and other various brands was a bit mind numbing. I had to pull back for a second and realize wait dude, you're not in a thrift, calm down. Also a big let down is finding a rack packed in the 50L section only to come to the fast realization that they're all euro sized.

scholars - figured someone here might be able to help me on this quest.

I have been eye ballin' this awesome BB jacket for some time now waiting for the overprice store to slash the price tag.  well, they finally did but the pants were no where to be found.  The jacket fit me perfectly and had ticket-pocket + surgeons cuffs (two things that i was really ISO). So now I need to figure out how to track down the correct color and fabric pants to re-unite with this orphan. Got any idea on that tag ? or the red lining? need some bait to narrow my search field.

TL;DR - got any information on this lining / tag that would help my search for a pair of pants.

How was it that my profession got tagged with this image oh so many years ago. Truthfully, I don't know anyone I work with who does the tweed and elbow patch look, though I do work with plenty of folks who dress awfully, in their own way.

A grip of the Corneliani / Zegna suits,  in the neighborhood of $599 iirc. All NWT of course.

Ditto, except that I wish my colleagues would actually wear a jacket, tweed or otherwise, rather than the jeans/chinos and sneakers uniform that runs rampant everywhere outside the business school and administration buildings.

Went out to a GW near my house before the football games and here is what i scored.

A pair of Timbs made in the USA that fit me.

Also picked up this Burberry shirt size L made in USA. It fits me decently but is kind of long and I prefer more slimmer fitting shirts so I could probably be persuaded to let it go.

I'm just talking out of my ass here, but since it's from 2011, I would call Brooks Brothers and ask if they could help you out.

I didnt mean that as an insult, I just meant the stereotypical, fuddy duddy older man professor from the 60s thing.

Oh, I know, very much familiar with the stereotype! And actually, if you wander over to the philosophy department, you'll see its closest modern representation (at least at my school).

Warning, don't open unless you want your retinas burned. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I have no idea what to wear with this. A little fashion forward with the short jacket and all, but a neat piece I think, and yes it's a recent suit. O.K., now go ahead and tell me to burn it. happy.gif

I don't think it will matter what you wear it with because nobody will be able to see anything but the suit.
