The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Page 3113

I've sworn up and down that I don't do shirts (other than RGs) on ebay but I'm going to dip my toe in again since I have a few things up.

I dropped my wife off at work this morning and stopped into a thrift nearby. I'll see how they do on the bay. The Brioni and the Zegna both have MOPs.

But the icing on the cake was this:

Heh, you're right. There's apparently one in the giant strip mall that has just about nothing I ever visit a mile or so from where I am right now.

May have to hit it up sometime today.

Anybody a size 12 looking for a good deal on spectators? You're welcome:

"The Shops at Target" started carrying Odin NY today. My store basically had one of everything in each size so I assume this will be picked over soon. This boot seemed like a deal at $45 so I grabbed it and this canvas duffle since I needed a new gym bag anyway.

The hooded parka and some of the sweaters looked pretty good too.

Been meaning to do this for a while but it's been too hot. I need to give a huge shout out to Wes, dude has hooked me up with 4 or 5 of the sickest tweed blazers, and I thought I'd share one today since the weather permits. Vintage houndstooth tweed with ticket pocket, the softest of shoulders and duel vented, topped off with a BB blue gingham BD, vintage Florsheim Royal Imperials and Dockers D1 slim fits. Thing fits like a glove, no tailor needed. Grendel, if you tell me this doesn't fit properly........

Sleeves might be a touch short and the shoulders might be a touch wide, but overall very good. The shoulders give it a nice line and aren't obviously overhanging, so I'd leave 'em.

Eazy, I could be wrong on this, but I think you may be too young to be dressing like a professor. Youve still got at least 5-8 years of fun stuff left before you get boring. IMO.
