We only use cast iron for cooking, they last forever if cleaned and seasoned prpperly. Our entire collection (except our 18" skillet) was thrifted or picked up from yardsales.

Had a few minutes to visit a Goodwill and TJMaxx/Marshall's today, and boy am I glad I did.

So baller. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif This is literally NWOT - there is not a mark on it anywhere--it still smells new. (I know it's a purse, but you'll probably want to unspoiler to see what it is.)

8:35am.... shit! Needed to leave at 8:15 to be there at the open..... Arrive at 9:20, head right for the suits... 5 suits in... hear two guys chatting "ever find a Brioni here?", "yup a few, see these nice Oxxfords", etc. facepalm.gif Flip through the suits with this sad look on my face.  censored.gifNothing! Start flipping though the sport coats (other side of the suits), guys still chatting "that won't sell". Find a one decent thing, which were posted yesterday, really nice Brooks Brothers Tweed. Finally get up to where the guys were standing, they depart and the one guy puts a  jacket back on the sport coat rack I just went though. As he turns his back I head over... feels nice. BAM - Oxxford Jacket, Dark Navy Chalkstripe 46L. Toss it in the cart. I know this store is notorious for splitting up suits (I guess he didnt). Head right over to the area they put out the "large" pants knowing they will be around a 38 or 40 and BAM!! Pants found.  Still kicking myself as the other one was a suit also, but oh well. Two tiny fabric flaws (arm and leg) so not great, but will do just fine on ebay.

decent day today. got a good condition PRL tuxedo, PRL tux shirt, burberry suit (made in america tags?), some sport shirts, BB makers and j. press tie, North Face poly fleece vest (for wear at work) among other things today. the shirts and fleece are are staying with me, ties meh, letting go of the PRL tux and burberry suit (not sure the quality on this, will need some of ya'll to tell me about it) since they aren't my size. i'm thinking these will have value on the bay if not here. my buddy picked up a brioni staple white shirt, kinda cool to see. also, picked up from the tailors the bb black fleece blue blazer i bought at luxury outlets a few weeks ago on the super cheap. will post pics later.

I was shopping at our local goodwill on wednesday when they have one their 50% of sales from 5 to 9 PM. I got some stuff including a leather Dell Laptop bag for only $5. It doesn't look like it was used much. Inside none of the fabric lining is ripped. I also got a little Luis Vuittton purse or cosmetic case for $5. I don't know if it is even real. I can't tell if it's fake or not but would guess it probably is.

Welcome to our land of plenty, and some might say too much.  This thing is so unbelievably sick.  I love old mil spec clothing and there's obviously a market for it in today's world as evidenced by Mister Freedom/Buzz Rickson/Sugar Cane's very expensive repros of items exactly like this.  In a size that might actually be slim fitting too!

Kuhlman tagged 44...neck would work best for a 16.5 because it's a tad snug for me...

This all came from the same person. Shirts are roughly 15.5/16x34. Pants are in the 32/34x30 range. Pretty much all the items still have the tags from the cleaners on them. Everything is available:
2x Zegna tagged 16/41 (both solid white)

2x Zegna tagged 15.5/40

Hamilton for Boyds...all tagged 2010. They have a monogram on the left cuff same color as the shirt.

Flat Front Zegna Pants....

My first ever Isaia. They appear to be in perfect condition.

Passed on two Ike Behar 15.5x34 shirts a a few pairs of Hiltl pants from the same guy.

Wow jkidd, looks like I should have stayed in Cincy this weekend - you took all the good stuff!

Found a few things, nothing super awesome:

Donegal Tweed, nice and heavy.  50% off plus an additional 25% off = less than a Big Mac.  My brother-in-law has dibs.

Is Eton decent?  This is the only one I've ever seen.  Normally I wouldn't pick up a white shirt at the thrift, but this looked unworn.  Awesome collar, french cuffs, just a tad snug, so it may be headed for feebay.

Also picked up my first pair of Brooks Brothers shoes.  I have no idea who made them - help please?  They're pretty dirty (got some paint spatter) but I've rehabbed worse.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Lastly, a couple of ties.  PRL,PRL, and J. Press (how the heck did that get to Cincinnati?)  Also picked up three Robert Talbott bow ties.  First time I've seen bow ties while thrifting.

That would be effing SWEET!  I've only seen Aldens twice before - first pair had a gash clear through the upper of the left shoe, and the other looked like it had been dragged behind a car all the way from New England.

Marshall's - 38S and 44L - neither of which fit me.

Here's my stuff from the last couple days... I think the drought is definitely over here. Everything's available unless stated otherwise

Here's the print un-matted. Still not sure what it is, but no numbered edition, so that's probably a bad sign.

This looks hand-written in pen, but doesn't look like the other signatures I've seen online for Erte.

Brooks Brothers cord blazer, around a 42L. Minty fresh and looks NWOT

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Custom made HF sportcoat, around a 40-41 slim with pick stitching, ticket pocket, and surgeon's cuffs. All of the pockets are basted shut and seems unworn NWOT

Orvis sportcoat / jacket, 50R

Older HF, but really nice flannel, 44R

Nothing special Harris Tweed, not canvassed, but I really like this fabric. It also fits me perfectly so I may keep it.

This thing is goddamned gorgeous. A Filson buffalo plaid hunting jacket. No size in it, but very big on me, so probably an XL or XXL. Four front flap pockets plus handwarmer pocket behind the bottom pockets. One big game pocket across the back. One pocket on the inside too.

The first of the Burberry London suits I found this weekend. Paid more than normal thrift prices, but it's very recent and in great condition, 40R, made by HF

Time to play guess the maker. Guess before you open the spoiler... You'll probably be surprised. Very nice pick stitching, but a bit too bold even for me. I think it's around a 50R.

The 2nd Burberry London suit... found these next three all together today. This one has a bit of damage on the inside pocket, but the outside is in good shape. All of these are 40R too.

A pair of nice navy Paul Stuart cords, around a 36

A cool Barbour wool scarf for me

A NWOT silk knit tie from Brooks Brothers for me

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

A cool Ted Baker London shirt, 16.5 x 32-33 with nice MOP buttons

Anyone ever seen shirts by Agnes B Paris? My GF was insistent that this is a great brand for wimmenz, and I saw a used shirt by them going for $85 on the 'Bay, but it didn't seem that great.

^ Agnes B used to be quasi trendy in the 90s'/00s, but I think its all but defunct.
