Sorry, wasn't clear. Full suit, single breasted. Pants were double pleated. Not a bad cut but the fabric colour was a weird gun metal blue/grey with alternating red/grey thin pinstripes that put me in mind of the sorts of RTW suits my uncles would wear when I was a kid.

All in all an unsettling experience. shog[1].gif

Well...that was the story, so now you've heard / read it.

I don't touch the stuff any more (weed, that is - give me a giant Spoon of Can or Faust and I'm set!)

can we have concert share time? at a recent reel big fish concert, I caught the drumsticks and the lead singer complemented my hand made cramps t shirt, all the while an attractive (though probably very wasted) tattooed girl felt the need to grind on me,  this was fun until the moshing started and I accidentally punched her in the face ffffuuuu.gif

**to keep this thrifting relatedish I went dumpster diving afterward and found some vinyl

My best: on one of the buses with Fishbone, Murphy's Law and Beastie Boys during their License To Ill tour (I am that old)...erm, yes, more weed.  Sang "Happiness Is A Warm Gun" with everyone on the bus and the 2 chicks I was with, then drove the Beasties in my car to my friend's house where he had a half-pipe.  They skated / we all drank a lot of beer.  Molly Ringwald was there for some reason, and I stole Mike D's VW necklace which I wore for the next 2 Halloween's dressed up as him.  [summary]

^^^^^^^^^^ Most excellent.  I think I'll spark a jammer while creating eBay listings tonight in honor of your past tours of duty.

Smoking weed with Damo Suzuki...one can dream.

Put some shoe polish on a couple pairs tonight, including the pair of Aldens I came across earlier this week and which had sharpie marks on them.  I was able to remove them, but I erred on my choice of brown for the polish and some remnants of where I erased them are visible.  These photos were taken before I had finished the right shoe.  You can see the blob of polish I put on the back of the right shoe before rubbing it in.

After a quick polish of both:

The other pair I did some quick work on are some very vintage Wolverine work boots that I had actually forgotten about and were at the back of the shoe closet.  This is when you know your shoe habit has gotten a little bit out of control.  In addition to putting some neutral polish on them, I fitted them with new laces.

One time in Houston I went to a Fishbone and Primus concert... Fishbone was excellent. Primus was excellent until some jackhole jumped on stage and stole Les's leather hat and he was PISSED. No weed in the story, although we probably did smoke later from my hazy memories of college.

Threw together a quick thrift fit for that thrift store runway contest. I unfortunately got a bit pudgy over the summer from slacking off my exercise regimen and eating too much junk. :\

I forgot who, but someone asked for a fit pit of the Brooks Brothers Extra Slim Fit shirt I found. Here it is: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

And the RLBL coat I found Brian asked for. Sorry about the dark pics. I, unfortunately, don't have a beautiful wife that finds horsebutt shoes and takes pictures of me. frown.gifWarning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
