Forgot to add another pair of shoes that I picked up last week. They should be great for the fall.
FootJoy Classics 12D at the thrift. Technically I am sure they are supposed to be golf shoes, but they have a red brick textured sole.

Got the boss to give me off tomorrow, got a list of 16 thrifts to hit up on an all day thrifting binge.  Wish me luck

amazing. great records like this never show up in quantities like this for me. Its always one at a time. Nicky Hopkins was one of the greatest session players ever and that record is fantastic. The range of 60s to 80s stuff makes me wonder when this person picked these up. Great taste whoever it was. Steve Kane record haul (Click to show)

Gieves & Hawkes - 40R - This thing is seriously minty fresh - even less signs of wear than the HF Suit I found yesterday and that was immaculate

Pics from the last couple of days.  First time I've seen most of these brands in the Cincy wilds:

Warning: Tons of pics, but some fairly cool stuff! (Click to show)

Any info on Paolo de Marco?  I don't know anything about them.  They looked pretty cool, and I didn't have a pair of lizard skin shoes before.  Fixed that.

Robert Graham.  Lots of embroidery.

I see Bonobos all over the fashion blogs, never saw it at a Goodwill before.

Bills Khakis, M2.

Also found a couple of Brooks Brothers coats.  Nothing special, First is from the spring 2007 collection.

Second is a bit more suitable for fall.

...you'd probably like to hear my story about smoking weed with Damo Suzuki and Michael Karoli (RIP) backstage before a show one night in Chicago...I watched the show from side-stage, and the weed was so strong and got everyone so high that Michael Karoli shit his pants and did a sideways-butt-scrunch-sort-of-walk over to tell me "I just shit my pants!  Onstage!"

Well...that was the story, so now you've heard / read it.

I don't touch the stuff any more (weed, that is - give me a giant Spoon of Can or Faust and I'm set!)

Stopped into a VV this evening and saw a Pal Zileri Gruppo Forall. Left it behind because the tag said 60% wool/ 28% silk/ 12% nylon. WTF?
It didn't look particularly old, except for the waffle weave fabric. Very weird.

Depends on the item - was it a SC or something else?  I've got a Pal Zileri Gruppo Forall shirt, made in Italy, that's 54% Rayon and 46% Poly...not a drop of anything natural in that shirt.
