haha klobber 80% of your posts are poop-related. 100% of those are awesome, ol' chap.

Those were all great and painful but I just lost it at that part. My wife just yelled "what's so funny?" and I didn't know how to respond.

Thoughts? There's enough fabric to do it. The thing is mint albeit, dusty as hell. Also, found in the woman's section.

A couple vintage bows, one with cherry's, one black, and a Vineyard Vines shell pattern (should cover the cost of this trip)

And some (gasp!) records. Smokey Robinson, The Chi-Lites, Marvin Gaye, Teddy P.

The only thing available is the VV tie.

thrift fit?

Klobber: Best. Post. Ever. I totally lost it, you're painfully hilarious!

Now, onto relevant business:

Picked this up... as if I needed another SC.

She's a 42L, and aside from the L, a perfect fit. Dunno if I want to take her to be shortened, though. Possibly available, too.

As Walter White said, “Name one thing in this world that is not negotiable.”

Wow - thank you, Klobber! Best laugh I've had in a long time!

Crom's balls, I'm dying here, Klobber!

As long as we're on the subject... I deal with MS, which, among others things, messes with sphincter control. I am keenly aware of bathroom locations around any area I travel. Hobbling around with a cane can come in handy though, as people seem to be a bit more likely to let me use "employee only" restrooms than they might otherwise.

Except that one f***er at that gas station in CT. Pox on him.

I can make do by stopping in a Wegmans or whatnot, but having a restroom right in the thrift store is soooo handy. I tend to use McD's, BK, and Wendy's a lot otherwise. As a vegetarian*, I find there to be something poetic about only entering them to use the can. biggrin.gif

*Before the thread gets sidetracked further, I think PETA is run by a bunch of idiots.

Brown, unstructured, linen & cotton Brooks Brothers 346 sport coat.  Nothing too special but it fits and it was $1.89

Found a nice staple blue Sammy. My size but too narrow on the hips and don't want to sink money into any restructuring.

Also left another Sammy there. Brown-grey glen plaid in a larger size. I'm gambling to see if it's still there on Monday when the half-off sale is on.

Edit: I was going to consign this but the owner thought it was a Spring suit (?!?) so it's now on B&S. I've had a couple of PMs about measurements and you'll find them there. Happy to cut a break to any thrift forum regulars who are interested.

I know a lot of people that come here enjoy seeing more than just the clothes aspect of this thread. Furniture, cool nick-knacks, electronics and such are all welcome here. In other words, keep posting your records people, and others who aren't into that sort of thing are free to skip said posts.

This. EB once sold the best down garments on the planet, and I'll peel my eyes for every one that gets posted--I'd way rather see that than yet another RG shirt, although those are good for laughs. My favorite thing ever on this thread wasn't clothing, it was a vintage custom bicycle posted by He Who Cannot Be Named (you-all know who I'm talking about) as final contribution to this thread. I like seeing KitchenAid stand mixers and Purple Hearts and a bunch of other stuff that isn't clothes. Let's face it: Brioni et al is great and cause for celebration, but look how much of it gets posted. Not to say it shouldn't be posted--when I find Brioni, you bet I'll post it. But man cannot live by Brioni and Tom Ford alone.

No returns here, either, except on electronic items--GW allows 48 hours, in case it doesn't work. I don't sweat it, really. I think it helps keep prices low.
