Wow, been gone for like two weeks and it seems things have gone down. In short, frenchy was banned, and DM7? DM7 started a new site (which, by the way, can I get an invite to or do I need to talk to DM or something?), and there was like a four day run where everyone found Brioni? Does that about sum things up?

Since I'm about to start law school soon I probably won't be around as much as I was this summer, but had to post my last find from NY. For now I'm going to say most is available since I don't really need the ties for school, and I'd prefer some trades that might help me survive the midwest (or near midwest but technically east coast) weather of Michigan.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Zegna, Paolo Gucci (can I get a verification on this?), Brioni, RLPL
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Bergdorf Goodman, Giorgio Armani, RLPL

Also not pictured are two other solid gray/silver ties and a Ricci shirt which I'm pretty sure isn't from Stefano Ricci if anyone knows. As always, I'm not really trying to make money but will part with them for pretty cheap if I can't get any good trades going. Would rather pass the blessings on in hopes that maybe the karma train will come by with some 9/9.5 boots for me this fall.

Finally, does anyone know where I can just buy some boots that are kind of like AE Dalton's but less expensive, and more suitable for winter wear? I've given up hope that someone will find some in my size before the fall hits, and I want to grab a pair that I can wear through winter. I'm even willing to pay full retail if I need to -_-.

On that note lets talk about some Allen Edmonds Leeds Shell Cordovan devil.gif  see if they will get a hit or two.

If I didn't already own 50 pairs of shoes, I would buy Dexters for myself, given they cost $3 and seem like perfectly nice shoes, but I never figured they'd fetch much. Then again, I don't spend a lot of time monitoring Dexter sales on the Bay. I also pass on Docs, which I personally love as knockabout shoes, because I never thought they'd fetch much, but I recall someone recently saying they're reliable sellers on the Bay. I'm having trouble lately unloading nice shoes--Ballys, high-end Johnston Murphys, Florsheim Imperials, even a pair of Alden loafers. Mrs. Pnutpug is starting to make fun.

Go to the Rose Bowl flea market and it's a Doc Marten shit show. I think every used pair in Southern California eventually finds their way there. Nothing like walking past piles and piles of used docs stewing in the sun.

This is never a good sign.

I picked up that goofy ass pair of orange sequined boots. It hasn't ended yet, but I have 6 watchers. I wouldn't pick anything else up though, not sure if anyone else has had better luck.

I was just gonna post pics of a Polo RL houndstooth blazer I picked up at lunch today...with tags, asking for maker ID...but I think it's Corneliani based on your photo.  Will post mine anyway - you got a nice one!

Took a long lunch and swung by Goodwill - among the usual stuff (plus a pair of ladies leather pants!), I picked up this RL Polo houndstooth blazer, 100% silk, made in Italy.  Can anyone ID the maker by the tags?  Based on Nataku's earlier post I believe it to be Corneliani...if so, not a bad coat for six bucks, and it fits me; unavailable at the moment.

Ok bros, shit in my trunk part 2. There will be another installment or 2 over the weekend most likely.

Shitty shit no one likes (Click to show)

FILSON 36x34

Baller silk herringbone SC I snagged for myself. Look at those lapels, they say to the world, my dick bruises my ankles. If you don't like this i've got some swag you can borrow... Circa 1978 lol

My first sulka, and more TA. BTW all TA I posted are either 16.5/17 or the MTM which I haven't measured yet.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is a SUIT. Pants not pictured, aesthetic details are really cool, DIBBED by you know who.

2 above are both suits, side vented, 42R. Below is a pinstriped orphan I couldn't leave for $14, also 42R and dual vented.

I bought this solely for getting some info on that tag from you fine clothing historians. Whats up with it? Cool color, and feels nice w/ the cashmere.

I Know ST. Andrews made for Karan Couture, but who the hell made this? Its fully canvassed, nice, and made in the US with what should be an easily identifiable makers tag, I hope.

I'm interested in the charcoal or black tie in the bottom row. Please let me know how much you want for it with shipping to N.Y.

Authenticity check please!  No idea what I would be looking for aside from the telltale signs of a nicely made shoe.  Nothing stands out as poor quality, but they don't seem as nice as many Allen Edmonds I've handled, for example.

They're kinda ugly but look to be made from one continuous piece of leather.  Not sure if they're worth very much but they seemed like a worthy pickup.

I found these exact shoes a few months ago in much worse shape. I left them because they were asking too much, $70. The leather felt great and also I'm not that knowledgeable on construction, it seems like Blake construction is used most by Italian makers.
