hey just got a pr new 75% off at the outlet myself during a recent clearance sale, the "low top" version for crappy weather days at work because I can't do galoshes or the other more upscale shoe covers seen elsewhere on this site. I'll just change into my vintage gator nettletons or aldens or vintage florsheim gunboats when I get to my cube.

still made in maine, they allege

This thing is seriously sick! In mint shape and even has the ticket pocket!!!! I also picked up a made in the USA L.L Bean tan Harrington coat with the plaid lining in my size. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif And a vintage Eddie Bauer shawl collar, cable knit cardigan with real leather buttons and suede elbow patches, all the bells and whistles, in my size!! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif I love it when the winter stuff comes out. The stores are flush boys!!!
edit: Also a super vintage PRL blackwatch blazer/sportcoat thing, super heavy, looks like it might be intended to be a top coat?

What size is the madras if it becomes un-dibsed?

FYI y'all... I'll be on vacay next week and incommunicado on an island. I'm not staging a protest or whatnot.

Next weekend I'll be hitting up a few places in Atlanta on Sunday (which ones are closed Sunday?) but other than that I won't be able to thrift. ffffuuuu.gif

All of my eBay auctions are down... it's like I'm an un-person... butbut.gif

Of course this doesn't mean I'm not buying stuff... Big shout outs to acosbysweater, Faceofboh, and the Capn. I'll have fun boxes waiting for me when I get home!

Shout out to mainy, for the Lanvin grail piece icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I went to my favorite place last night, which had been super dry because there was a flipper that stayed in there all day, looking through the new racks as they came out. I remember he took some Bose and Shure headphones the moment they came out, as well as countless other clothing. He was there literally, from 10-7. I had workers telling me that. ffffuuuu.gif

Anyways, he wasn't there, but there were two other known flippers. ffffuuuu.gif

But got some finds still.

Vintage L.L Bean fly fishing jacket. I thought someone on the forum would want it, or my friend's dad. L

2 x Citizens of Humanity and a pair of Self Edge x Flat Head jeans! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif CoH is 36, Flatheads 32.

Shirt by Shirt XXL

My favorite, Tim Hamiliton Redux. At a consignment. XS

So, what's the story with them? I assume they're pretty rare?

Ok, pics of the stuff i found today, all N/A except the PRL jacket and possibly the madras jacket.
LL Bean Maine boots.

Mint made in the USA LL Bean Harrington.

Mint made in the USA Eddie Bauer cardigan.

Minnesota hats, tweed with ear flaps.

PRL made in the USA blackwatch, bummed this doesn't fit. Super heavy, I'm guessing about a 41 or 42, measurements on request.

Suuuuuuuuper bummed this doesn't fit, vintage madras, probably about a 41 42 also.

And this is one of my favorite finds of all time. Vintage double breasted plaid hounds tooth top coat. Soft shouldered and the ticket pocket really sets it off. It feels just like the linen/flax Etro blazer I found awhile ago that is now in GMmcl's possession. It was one of those things where I saw it a mile away on the rack, picked it up, saw what it was and prayed it was even close to my size. I slipped that fucker on and I could tell just from how slim the sleeve was that I had a winner. It just needs to be nipped at the waist if that, and it will be perfect!!!! Another piece to check off the list. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

That thing looks great, definitely has a Scottish country-home feel.

The problem is that they take up so much space. We're hoping to move sometime soon and we're definitely looking to have a (much needed) bigger place.
