No really, I can't remember how I came across that, but they have every issue. It's a bit wonky to navigate, but eventually you can find ranges of years when specific shoes were sold, by cross referencing number codes and logo changes. I use it all the time.

I don't have any real experience with trousers, but this is what I found:
If the size give is the waist, use the same formula. If it is length, only multiply by 0.3937, which is the conversion of cm to inches.
From some reading, it looks like some EU sizes given are for the hips and not the waist. If that's the case, you need a conversion chart to get the waist size, or if it is with a suit, you need the drop.

I can't quite make it out either, but they fit like a 9c.  I am a 9.5 d in many shoes and these are a bit snug in the toe box.

OK peeps, I've been blasting up posts all week because I've been on vaca, and hangin' out with you all is what I really would rather be doing, if this work s#1t didn't get in the way of my constant chatter (and lighting up the PMs!!! Whoo great back door deals made all week!).

Sadly, I will be going back to the grind Monday.

However, I squeezed in one more New Hampshire Seacoast power thrifting run today. Questions for you all at end.

First, please someone explain the diff between normal acrylic and virgin acrylic. I want funny answers, not factual statements,

I give it three pockerchiefs up!

Next, polo and zegna coatage:

All right, corneliani charcoal herringbone jacket. It's my size, I am jacked. Five effin' buttons on the sleeves. Look at the tags. Are there pants to go with it? Is it a sportcoat? If it's a suitcoat sans pantalons, can you pull it off as a sportcoat, considering the buttons? Dig, do you still read our thread here? This would be one you could field. Mainly I want to know if that "8" floating free on the label means "Drop 8, there should be some pants floating around about waist 32..." or is this a sportcoat. Thanks in advance for opinions. I usually can tell the diff, but this one's close to call...sorry crappy pix but light sucked (thunderstorm rolled in so I suddenly had only artificial light -- which means my camera's flash had to do some lifting, which = suck because I need a better digicam)

LAst questions: I passed on a suit with this Gant label...mistake? Also there were 3-4 Canali suits that were size Italian 60 tall for $20 each...mistake if I wanted to flip?

FYI: I just sold a 58L (Eur) on ebay last week for $90.
Edit: with tiny tiny tiny ink mark on trousers.

There was lots of action at the end.
Probably could have done a bit more with better photography.

Glad to help. Just be sure to check the few years before and after '78 so you can accurately list the possible years the shoe was made. I think the sharkskin line was 5 or 6 years running.

WES! Mad knowledge and good fit pics. No pockerchiefs up for you, it's all good.
