Thanks to all who provided info. on the Dior shirt I posted a couple of days ago -I'm always learning something from you guys, that is what makes this thread so great!! The material tag definitely didnt match to what it should look like.  Interestingly, I did run across a thread on AAAC where someone in Argentina was selling Dior pieces on Ebay, and the seller claimed that a factory down there still had the license to sell them in Argentina (The back of this one says Made in Argentina, which I did not notice in the store but should have, and I would have passed). Don't know if that is true or not & really doesn't matter, as Dig likes to say, I'll use it to work on the car... but def. upped my knowledge thanks to you guys!

Also, props to BrianP for the awesome M. Dingman soft leather belt he traded to me this week!!!

Those last two are Pure Cashmere, btw.
Also found a Brooks Brothers Makers & Merchants shirt, in my size, with french cuffs.  Normally I'd be pretty stoked about that, but today destroyed my normal expectations.

Those + the salmon/pink one are sweet....awesome haul!!!

At the risk of hijacking, yet another chapter in the continuing saga of WTF USPS.

Mailed three pairs of shoes yesterday. Because I am the cheapest man on the planet, I always do it parcel post with scrounged boxes. The box to Oklahoma cost $4.57 with confirmation, a new record low--I could hardly believe it. The box to Washington D.C, the largest of the three (I had to get busy with a knife and cut it down to size), was the same. Wow! The box to Chicago, which was the same size as the Oklahoma box, was $8.18, and I live in Illinois. USPS charged more, way more, for a box that will travel less than half the distance of the other boxes, one of which was significantly larger. The DC box was the heaviest, but not by much. If anyone is wondering, I did not do this myself. I always take the boxes to the counter, let them do the weighing, then hand the money over.

I apologize, Oxxford's are great finds but I just don't see everyone's hype around such loud colors like this. To me it looks rather hideous. However, I can't say for sure since this is the only picture. You're other finds were great though. Keep it up!

Dear weso0119,

light soiling on the left sleeve, should clean up nice. It would if you had it cleaned... Was interested until I read your stupidity. Now not.

Dear wild1erica,

I see no need to have every piece drycleaned. I suggest if you intend to make purchases on ebay you do not insult the sellers. Congratulations, you have now been blocked, not only from my store, but also from a network of dozens of my colleages stores as well.

-weso0119

Dear weso0119,

Congrats you have now been added to my ebay blog of douches. You are a seller of dirty clothing. Just nasty. As for being banned from buying your filth, Thank you!

- wild1erica

Dear wild1erica,

Thank you for reply.

I apologize for my hasty response last night. I was having other issues with my store settings last night which involved reinstalling the HTML code in each of my listings. So needless to say I was a bit on edge when your message came thought.

As for the suit. I have always tried to be an honest seller. Would you have preferred I left out that the suit needed some minor dry cleaning? That would have been dishonest. I an not a dry cleaner, nor do I intend to become one. Certainly if a buyer can buy a $500+ suit for $40 there would be money left over for light dry cleaning and potential tailoring. Not all of the items I sell require dry cleaning and the ones that do are indicated as such. Most would prefer to have them cleaned anyway.

That said, calling a hardworking honest seller "stupid" is not exactly what I would call an exhibition of good manners. If you are not interested in an item, simply do not purchase it. Is there really a need to send an insulting message?

wild1erica! She's so damn wild, she's insulting ebay sellers on the interwebs! WOOOHOOO!

I know some of you guys are big Woolrich heads - I passed on these today, but thought I would mention that I could proxy for someone if you like - numbered, limited edition pieces from the 180th anniversary. Not cheap, not expensive.

They had these in a M and a L (I forget which was which)

If anyone is interested (or if I should go back to sell smile.gif ) let me know!

So I bought these shell Alden for BB shoes earlier this week. Got a good look at the today. Looks like someone liked to use black shoe polish on them. ffffuuuu.gif

Any tips on removing this?

I only ever use a damp (with water) cloth and a horse hair brush on shell. It takes some time, and your arm will be tired, but eventually it will work it off. Whatever you do, don't use saddle soap, it will leave a cloudy film that will make you start all over again.

You can try Saphir Reno'Mat on them. It's the best cleaner I've ever used.

It was a day of orphans today... The first place I went, this was the first thing I found... It's an orphan, but I couldn't leave it behind

I checked 2 other VofA's for the pants, but they were nowhere to be found... I'll see how it does on the 'Bay as an orphan I guess, unless someone wants it here. Tagged a size 60, so probably a 46-48.

While I was looking for the pants for that one, I matched up the pants for this Hickey Freeman (AVAILABLE). I'm glad it was separated because they had another HF around the same age there with both pieces together at $50! I left that one.

Not sure if these were a reverse orphan. Armani Collezione 30x29 pants. Well made... In Portugal? Available

Also found these wild Bonobos 34's... They're my size, so I might keep 'em, but I've got a pair in this color already, so if someone wants 'em let me know. I think they're a few years old, because mine don't have this button
