Today was a thrifting day from hell. Literally the worst day I can remember in a long time.
Started off ok. Found a RLPL casual L/S shirt, an Etro cashmere sweater and an Etro L/S button-down. Cool? Yeah. Well, as I'm looking at the Etro sweater a arm reaches over my shoulder and plucks a jacket from the rack. Literally from in front of me. Going by the quality of what I had just found, I wondered what it was that had been grabbed. Turned around and it's this 6'1 tall bovine shaped woman who is notorious for flipping. Literally hoovers up anything of any value in her path and is extremely rude/aggressive. Glared at her and walked away.
She left and I found nothing more. Decided to go to a garage sale on the other side of town to try and get my mind off her and the jacket. Got there and lo and behold there she was. Ugh! Garage sale was a bust. Hit 5 more thrifts and ran into another notorious flipper. Great.
I cannot believe some people.....
Bad luck dude. Well a Loro Piana eBay search would not be hard to do, follow up and find that jacket. Bid and then file a SNAD and send her an old jacket of yours with a fresh dog turd in the pockets.
Naw only kidding....
Still though, I would not have been a nice guy if she did lean over my shoulder and grabbed something. I would have certainly yelled at her and played the nut. That way in future wherever I am, she will not be there in the same aisle.
This one is a 44 but off limits (dibbed) at this current time.
