The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Page 2864

A few recent pickups.  The first two are really great quality custom-made SC's.  My research indicates that the maker has been in the business a long time, and the garments are pretty expensive.  They're fully canvassed, have surgeon's cuffs, lots of pick stitching, and great fabric.

If the measurements work for anyone, send me a pm with an offer.  I need closet space, so I'm willing to give them away for pretty cheap.

First is a navy & blue windowpane. Side vented, and soft as hell.  Fits like a 46R-L

Measurements:

Sleeves - 25"

Length - 32.5"

Chest - 24.25"

Waist - 23.5"

Shoulders - 20.25"

Second is a solid navy. Center vented and soft as hell. I'm convinced it has at least some cashmere in it.  Also fits like a 46R-L

And then this is completely baller.  I'm pretty sure its Sartoria Partenopea, but am waiting to hear back on the label thread.  Not available at the moment.

My understanding is that it is Sartoria Partenopea. Sorry for not replying in the labels thread. I saw your post.

No harm no foul, they are both relevant to our thread, IMO.

I haven't thrifted (as) much lately...I have so much inventory and so little motivation to move it with Summer and all...

I did find these Florsheims in near mint condition but am not certain on the species. Any guesses? Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Sorry for my outburst a few days ago.  The animosity toward me + the PM:Comment ratio was getting pretty aggravating, but there was no reason to attack the majority of you.

I haven't been thrifting much... but give me ~4 weeks, and I should be able to blow my Bijan/Ricci/Tom Ford haul out of the water... Twice.

Hell yes. The old 2's are so much bigger than the Wayfarers of today (and thus fit my enormous dome). I randomly found the exact same pair in black in my parent's storage shed. Apparently I had to have them for a school trip in the late 80's. Was so stoked to find mine, insane quality. I almost want to stockpile every pair I come across.
